The part from the later CS2040 chainsaw is part number 1004698-67. The equivalent gear shaft assembly from the GK2240 (now obsolete) is 90082262. Both parts appear to use the exact same clutch spring which you cannot buy separately.

Just been playing with an old gk1630t I found in the shed. This is from a period in time when some bright sparks decided a threaded tooth chain tensioner was just too easy so they played with many tensioners - oh my god - these are so useless - how many saws are binned because folk can’t even get the cover back on after changing a chain. Absolute rubbish.

Just to clarify the old model I am repairing is a GK2240. The part I am taking the clutch spring from is for a CS2040
