They managed to improve his posture! That's amazing! I still think the back mounted arms are kinda stupid but this figure is much better than the mpm, I'm just sad that Black Apple couldn't release his version bc that one was really the best of the bunch

@@vapo377 the thing is when a figure calls itself a masterpiece and cost a lot more than a KO, it should not have needed those Kit to begin with

@@trantuankiet3080 Here's the thing though. It clearly worked for their testers otherwise they would've gone back to revise. I'm guessing in mass production of the figure the pieces didn't translate perfectly and figures they thought worked just like the original prototype were slightly off in several ways they weren't prepared for. It does happen, and I'm not excusing it either but once the toy releases, Hasbro could only do one of two things. Recall the toy and send out replacements or re-issue it to the masses without addressing the faulty ones already on the market.

Yes you are correct about weijang apple optimus, that is the right scale for that bmb ironhide, and the apple version is the upscaled of mpm optimus...and if you also have mega tank commander they scale perfectly..

You need to push the ball peg further, so it can hold the shoulder better, but be carefull though its a bit tricky. This is a solid figure and i think the solution blackmamba offer to fix the shoulder, is better than dna kit, because it doesnt involve partsforming

Black apple is also working on a modified version of the mpm-06 Ironhide I believe. Let's hope it gets released soon!

Um. I dont think so. Hasbro raided Weijiang. On the bright side, some people say that Black Apple is now free again and might redesign a new MPM Ironhide ko. (That's just a guess. I'm not sure he will make another Ironhide

I think everyone is going to go crazy for the newer version of this they just put out at Showz. Its in preorder phase, but it looks nuts!! The arm cannons can store inside the alt mode. Its an OS, redesign of the MPM. I dont think it has any electronics but i could be wrong about that. Its shaping up to be the best movie Ironhide I've ever seen. I immediately put a deposit down lol. Go take a look, i bet you will too.

Which Batteries dou you guys use? I tried the AG3 Batteries (LR41) as it Said in the battery slots. But they are too small for the slots.

I think I've effectively been persuaded against getting any Ironhide figure. As much as I love the movie character, if the transformation isn't fun, then I've lost most of my motivation to get one. It can be simultaneously fun AND difficult (or complex, rather) , but this just seems difficult. Thanks for saving me money, lol

I would love to have this over the original mpm but since it's oversized it doesn't scale very well with the rest of the mpm's

It does scale very well with smaller bots like Bee Jazz and Barricade, but yeah for anything of the same size and higher it has to be oversize. It is an improvement in scale tho, the mpm ones aren't the most accurate, but means bigger toys, more space and more money too.

Unfortunately not. Both 09 Prime and this BMB Ironhide are the same height. And Ironhide needs to be 6 centimeters shorter than Prime to scale well.
