Coleman B200 Mini bike gets faster with one mod!
Installed a 40-tooth sprocket on the Coleman B200 mini bike.
Tested the bike for 0 to 30 and top speed.

Next is a Stage 1. You won’t need to use a new carb; the stock one will easily let you see mid 50s or upper 50s with a header so long as you re-Jet of course. I had to rob one of my dead ‘80s Honda mowers for its emulsion tube to make it work … the Lifan 196’s stock emulsion tube won’t respond to a bigger jet. I may have mentioned sizes in the one video I made about mine awhile back. Be careful … those stock tires are nasty at speed as I’m sure you know. The smaller rear sprocket is one I’d do even without a top-end gain because most clutches or TC’s just grab too quick for wanting to poke around the yard smoothly.

I wonder how much the tyres slow it down? let's see how the difference a road tread of the same size effects the acceleration and top speed (along with Db?)

I built a 223cc with the works for my RT200 and put 22" tires on it for a bit more squish... the torque keeps smoking clutches so Ill have to put a torque converter on it. I know you love the speed runs but it would be cool to see different high torque / lower speed builds for hill riding / off roading.

All the bikes are set up like that from the factory. 50t sprocket is for digging. 40t sprocket is for speed.

I'm thinking a 400 cc all stock motor dirt bike carb on the 40 tooth in the near future And hopefully I can do a smooth 60 - 75 top with only a few mods such as springs ratio rockers and a cam with stage 2 muffler

Nice bike, does it ride smoothly? Also, (and this is off topic but) do you think a 58mm crankshaft would fit in a 68mm block? I know that no one has done this (and posted it online) as of yet. I would say that it could work but the only thing that would need to happen is the piston would need to be milled down approximately 4mm and/or a shorter than usual connecting rod would need to be installed (if that’s even a thing). What do you think?

I like the rear fender, much better than the fender on the mega moto 212. Do you think that the fender would work? I would leave it stock, you have lots of modified bikes already. 🎉

looks like they had the Master link on backwards... I know the link needs to face the direction in which it wont flick the retainer off if it catches on something... but here's a problem. the bottom of the chain does not travel as fast as the bike, in fact it often does less that 1/2 the speed of the bike, and it is exposed to whatever is on the ground. So when riding over sticks and other debris on the ground, if the link retainer is the way it is "Supposed to be" it catches on the debris and flicks off... so In that case it's better to have it backwards unless you like to spin the wheel while going over the debris!

This is one reason why you will see that in most of the builds on the channel I don't use a master link at all.

Hey black, love your videos. I have a Coleman bt200x I have a simple gov bypass done and bigger air filter and previous owner drilled stock exhaust. I’m 200lbs and hit a top speed of 29mph. Anything I can do to make it faster?

Yes I'm taking off the header pipe for now..😂😂😂 and I'll be getting that 40 tooth sprocket and i have to put my stock carb back on and like I explained Before some reason my b200 has a jack shaft no torque converter I believe they work similar but the jack shaft won't allow me to go past 33mph. I by passed the governor switching link to carb housing

There are few different models of this bike. The B200 with the torque converter. The B200R with the jackshaft , the B200rsv with the rear suspension and the torque converter, and then couple sub models.

There are a few different models of this bike...There is the B200RSV which has front and rear suspension with a torque converter. The B200R has front suspension with a jack shaft and then the B200 which has front suspension and a torque converter and a couple of sub models.

I have the b200 and I’m 290 or so atm..does great even going up hill to our neighborhood gas station/store..even with my 3 year old with me!! I’ve done non epa carb with main jet and header/muffler and zip tie..loving it will run it like this for a while and start buying parts for an overhaul during winter!!
