I just wanted to say that I’ve recently discovered your KZfaq channel and as a chef myself you are a fantastic cook and one hell of a Chef. You have given me so many ideas for the restaurant that I work in and that I plan on making a trip to Daddy Jacks so I can indulge in your excellent cuisine! Thank you for sharing this recipe and as always I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

TO ANY WHO WANT TO CRITICIZE THE CHEF'S HYGIENE OR HIS METHOD OF COOKING...this is my message to you. I was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968. Whenever my outfit went to the boonies for a few days, they set up a field mess to feed us hungry Gyrenes. Do you think that HYGIENE was the main consideration? Hell no. The main thing was to feed 200 Marines food that tasted good. So what if a goddammed stray mouse, lizard, or bug got into the chow. We were famished after running obstacle courses and firing manuevers all day. One guy found a wasp in his soup. He complained. The Master Sergeant in charge of the chow said to him, "Hush up, boy, or everyone will want one."
@geo67405 жыл бұрын
Dwight Turner / First off..TY for your service. Comparing a military mess tent in the boonies to a public restaurant is absurd. There are good reasons to avoid some of what I see in these videos. I'm sure many patrons have been sickened after eating there, but thought it was a bug going around. Sure, anything he has cross contaminated and is cooked to temp is fine, but what about the raw green onions he touched to garnish your plate or that nasty rag he uses to wipe off the serving plates...No Thanks!

Jack I’m with you 100% in all of your cooking techniques but I do gotta say if you’re gonna use rags to hold food items then at least use a clean one. The rag you used to hold the corn was straight up and down nasty looking. It had been used. It was not clean. I’m hoping you understand and not just get pissed. I’m not trying to talk shit I’m just pointing out an observation. Thanks for that vids they’re great. Keep it up Jack!

I love this channel but you said New England sweet corn is the best. I'm from Iowa. I finally disagree Jack. Corn and Iowa chops...nothing better. We would have a meal of sweet corn and fresh sliced tomatoes. Farmer style.😁
