Today I show how I forge a pair of basic scissors from a piece of old coil spring. A quite rewarding project as the end product turns out to be a very useful tool!! Also included is a segment of me and my son finishing up a charging station for the household electronics...all designed by him and me as a helping hand :)

Just make a simple furnace out of bricks, use charcoal as fuel, and pump the oxygen inside using a bike pump. Basically costs nothing to make. As the material for making tools, you can use rebar, it's not the best kind of steel, but it still works. That's what i did at least. As of now i made a spear/arrow head thing, and i made something resembling a knife...

These will last several lifetimes... we need to do away with this idea of buying something cheap and throwing it away as buying another is cheaper... I know there are people out there who would pay for this kind of stuff and know that it would last or at least could be repaired / sharpened rather than thrown away into landfill. Great work :)
