I would just like to say that I had a blackwing deck BEFORE the structure deck came out and ever since I first summoned Blackwing Full Armor Master, its been one of, if not, my favorite boss monster

The deck is goated with the sauce. Really strong and fun. Also full Armor solos tear . Such an absolute GIGACHAD boss monster

Full armor only got 3k atk though, easily destroyed by other boss monster, u can't even boost or protect it because it's unaffected

@@Fikri_A777 It's easy to say that but when you think about it. In a tier 0 format where tearlaments are everywhere. They can't out it except if they make dweller along side with them having rullkallos. Or if they have the Field spell along side with them summoning their boss monsters. Keep in mind that you're burning your opponent with your assault dragons in the process. Having full Armor on your side makes a huge difference. Floo can't do anything against it. Exosisters can't do anything. So the anti tear stuff are so bad against it also

@Fikri_A777 most decks I've played against can't beat over a 3k monster easily. Especially when I have assault dragon set up. Goal is to make them have to address assault dragon before anything else.

@@monaco0042 I actually used Full Armor Master against Tear to take their Zeus after baiting them to attach a material onto it, then Zeusing them back, but keeping my Full Armor Master alive.

Blackwing are my favorite archetype during the ygo 5ds generation through mid- ygo zexal! Love Blackwing❤ So many option card/decks now, need to play around the meta.

No falling asleep now, Cali. I mean, the tear deck is so SKILLFUL. I keep hearing from various yugitubers and pros how the mirror match is absolutely SKILLFUL. I mean, what could be more exciting than such SKILLFUL play! Excellent drawn out board filling turn *SKILLFUL*! Yeah, really hard to say that without falling apart. But hey, we have Blackwings, the deck that refuses to fade away, gotta respect the grit. And makes for a good watch.

They are skillful, something boring can still be skillful, something fun can be braindead to play. There are many fun formats that havent been that skillful and many very skillful ones that people find boring to play

I went up against a Blackwing player today and my opening hand was Amazoness War Chief, Amazoness Golden Whip Master, Lava Golem, Niberu, and a Kaiju. Needless to say I ended up winning the duel, decks like Blackwing are why I run Niberu, Lava Golem, and a Kaiju.

What make black winged assault better than masquerade is it doesn't prevent you from activating monster eff (masq makes you have to pay to activate, but assault makes you pay *after* activate), just like red eyes flare iirc

In a way, yeah. You aren't prevented from activating (it is not LP payment, but effect damage), which is more interactive, and well... allows for more misplays. ;-)

I've never lost to Blackwings since they got the new cards and I play Icejade, plus I went second most of the times I played against them AND they brought out 3 of the Birn Cards.

The deck has got tons of potential but sometimes one interruption is enough to stop a bad hand... But then you see players like the one in the video that play an unoptimal version of the deck, he could have done so much more than what he did in this replay, same for many people playing the deck for the first time, I've played bws for a few years and have encountered pretty dumb players on the ladder

I love how they were too stingy to include Full Armor Master in the Structure, but still felt it was necessary to give one out as an incentive to play the deck. Not about to pass up the chance to throw around shiny digital cards.

Also no other synchro except the og dragon and newer support, and all 3 good ones are URs (you dont NEED Raikiri but its very good, you absoluetly need Nothung and Joe is better to have than not to have)

@@tommytruong3350 No problem :) I just remember because I've used Blackbird Close from hand in Duel Links while controlling Black-Winged Dragon, so I know that it mentions Black-Winged Dragon, which makes it searchable that way.

Anyone know where the choke points are when playing this deck? so basically when to ash and who to imperm because this deck seems quite resilient when i play against it lol

Since Blackwing tends to summon over 5 times in a single turn I would recommend Niberu, a full board wipe is way better against Blackwing than a couple of negates like Ash or Imperm.

You have to ash simoon and Sudri. If they play vata and activate his effect then use ash on vata. You lose your only tuner. It’s only a 50% win rate deck. It just looks strong going first because u get taxed 2100 LP per effect. I play this deck I’m at gold 2 rn and if I get my sudri or simoon hit then usually it’s gg. It’s all down to luck. But if they don’t have hand traps then it’s a tear farmer. After 3 black wings the opponent just ffs. I don’t even need to use my negates. Full armor master is not even needed most the time it’s just overkill. Other monster effect heavy decks lose too. Nib is actually useless because on summon 6 you can still end on a board with 2 dragons and full armor master

@@boxier7gaming that means they don’t know how to pilot the deck… in what world do u not synchro before 5. And if you run ying Yang dragon the nib pops it for you for free. To get a truly indestructible armor master that will throw wedge counters on their whole board. if u want to counter take out nib put in imperm or ash so instead of landing on 2 dragons and armor master they land on sudri and pass. U do what u want tho it’s your deck. EDIT: Yazi dragon I meant 😂. I call it ying yang in my head my bad

OK so I’ve been playing this game for roughly 3 weeks and I’m gonna say one of the best decks in this game is targeted towards your life span by making you sit through a painful 20 minute turn(well at least it feels like!,)….97 link chains……before eventually locking you down for any possible move whatsoever. I really don’t think you can call yourself a skilled yugioh player if your goal is just to piss off your opponent by just consuming all of the time.

The only UR cards I pulled from packs were the 2 Raikiri and the 1 Nothung, and only Nothung is seen in every single decklist. The Raikiris are my nostalgia pick.

@@timaeus22222 I mean Raikiri is handy so definitely not only nostalgia pick but useful card sometimes. Also dont underestimate hawk joe, he can provide insane potential to certain lines
