Snipes was perfect as Blade, Stephen Dorff played a great part as well. It's a shame the 3rd film went off the rails but 1 and 2 were fantastic.

The new guy they chose to play the “new” Blade is a good actor. I have seen him in several films so I know that he can act. However, there is no way that he can match the charisma, dangerous intensity, and physicality of Wesley Snipes.

Also watch Alita : Battle Angel. The new Blade actor is in a short few scenes. He can do charisma and in Luke Cage he showed intensity. It’s the fighting I’m most worried about too.

@@underthemoonlight I wouldn’t say whining, it’s just facts. A lot of movies rely on CGI versus actual action like they did in this movie and other older movies. It definitely has a different effect and feel to it. I definitely like seeing choreography that’s this intense versus seeing CGI steal the light. Movies, like music and everything else has gotten worse when it comes to nowadays. Sure, technology can help out with a lot but the more you rely on it the less gritty and real things seem to be. In music I would say deep hitting lyrics with some emotion is better than having a crazy\cool sound or beat (which is good if it’s just instrumentals or an ambience etc.)

@@jellyjam1120 I. Talking about there personalities, Ryan Reynolds acts like Deadpool normally it’s him basically being himself. Even he said he loves playing Deadpool. Same with Weasley as blade. If you have someone that loves playing their character with passion chances are it will be a success.

Why this part isn't included in crotch shot compilations is beyond me. It's so brutal. The guy was already down, but Blade stops to take out a decade or two of anger out on this one guy. The worst part is, that guy isn't even dead. I'm sure he wishes he was.

Probably won’t be as good because the actor that plays Blade is not a martial artist. I think it’s impossible to replace Wesley Snipes with any other actor for Blade.

In case anyone is wondering about why Blade: Trinity tanked, I was told by a KZfaq commenter this pertaining to Blade: Trinity: Apparently, Wesley Snipes had hired a director and co-written a plot that the future was apocalyptic, ruled by vampires. Blade had been taken captive by them, experimented on and left to suffer. Eventually, a resistance group rescues Blade and takes the fight to the vampiric empire. Marvel rejected this plot bc it would cost them more money, fired the director Wesley Snipes had brought in and hired the writer that had created the 'Martha' line in Superman vs Batman. Wesley Snipes was so pissed that eventually, he stopped talking to everyone and only communicated via memo. He was furious at the new director and almost got into a fistfight with him. Hence, that may be why he is not starring as Blade in the reboot.
