There's plenty of others not covered like Case, Hogue, Kershaw, Gerber, ESEE, TOPS, Bradford, etc. I hear ya, some of our favorites weren't included, but the video would be crazy long and take forever to make if they showcased all the companies. This seemed like just a fun video idea centering around the 4th of July.

I feel the same way about this country brother. I love being able to carry a cold steel vaquero xl that’s been modified with an Emerson wave to come out of my pocket opening faster than a switch blade. Ppl are just amazed that such a large knife can be deployed so quickly and be bought for so cheap. Not to mention being able to carry twin hi point 9mm everywhere with me, on me or in my car and pump shotgun with an 18.5 inch barrel with buck shot as the home defender. It makes you feel safe from all the crazies. And I don’t care what anyone says a hi point 9mm is probably the most durable and reliable pistol, ever, period. And I bought two both used from a pawn shop for only $80 each. That’s $180 with tax for two of the most durable and reliable American made fire arms in the world. And that’s why I’m not really into fancy guns all you need is a couple hi point pistols and a hi point carbine. Nothing more is needed to take someone or something down. And for folding knives it’s gotta be cold steel. Really for any knife or blade it’s gotta be cold steel.

Benchmade folder locks and locks that are similar like the one in the spyderco manix and the block one in that new microtech actually fail very easily. If you go it in your hand and then hit the butt of the knife on a table or anything hard really the force causes the block or bar or ball bearing against the spring and that jolt against the spring will cause the lock to fail and the blade to close. When someone showed me this with my benchmade and told me every benchmade does it and any knife with a similar lock I instantly became a spyderco and coldsteel man.

The list you did have was great, but it's pretty sad the brands you left off. Guess you are still too scared to mention the most patriotic brand there is - Medford. Followed by Hinderer, Strider, Winkler, Spartan, RMJ, Ka-bar, Chris Reeve, Esee and Tops

I want to push the knife fandom into a more patriotic direction. American made is cool and all but how many of these companeis are co-ops or are union shops? Its one thing to be made in the USA but if is a shop that is only enriching a few people at the top of the food chain Im not super interested. If that shop however is unionized or a co-op, meaning the workers have real vested interest in the company, then Im very interested in their products.
@Ratbass69
@Ratbass69 18 күн бұрын
I believe Benchmade has unionized employees which requires them to pay them much higher wages. That is a reason some of their pricing is much higher than you would see from other brands.
