It thrills my soul to here the 4 yr old sing this song. It thrills me because for a long time we didn't think he would talk. He has had lots of therapy and started with sign language. That’s what Blake said. When he was having marital problems and he was at rock bottom, he said this song came to him in his sleep. He woke up and kept singing it to help him from giving up on his life.

You don't have to be a Christan to be a Christ follower. Cause Christianity is just a religious title. I'm both a Christian and a Christ follower. It's ok not to be a Christian but still be a Christ follower cause as long as your a Christ follower you know that your on the right path cause your doing everything that he would do and not doing anything he wouldn't do. The song is powerful and you don't have to believe in God or have a religion to apreciate the song. Russell does apreciate the song, it seems. Again, when people say they aren't Christians, it's not an invitation for people to come at us telling us we should call out to God and ask for something we don't feel. We have been there, done that... religion doesn't speak to us, but we aren't bad people for that.

I was just watching the things on the voice where each artist explained the story behind one of their songs and then Blake's turn came. I figured it would be a song I knew because I'm a very frequent Blake listener. As a kid I grew up listening to him and just never stopped. But anyway it was this song which I had never heard so I looked it up and was once again blown away by the man. Blake Shelton will be known as one of the greatest if not the greatest country artist of his time. Tennessee loves him. ❤

My grandmother just passed tonight and haven't seen her in 5 years. Also couldn't get to see her before she passed, but this song brings me peace if I keep listening to it. Really loved that God gave you this song Blake! Cause it really has helped me alot in my life.
