Jay my dream car is a 1955 T bird painted 76 Ford candy apple red with pearl essence. I fell in love with the 55 T bird in 1955 when I was 18. I am now 85 as of January 3rd this year. I like the way you show your cars to us on the net! I finally got to have a T bird in 1978 when my husband who worked for the telephone company was transferred to Port Townsend, WA from Kent, WA. The 77, 78, and 79 T birds were big boats! My wish is to win a huge lottery so I can finally get my original love!

Gave up on that one quick. I know I'm not up to the challenge and Jay's probably capable of getting out of and staying out of range of anything I've got the strength or stamina to produce. Plus the Autobuffs and car nuts would hunt me down a linch me. Thanks guys and keep them coming. I attribute my hearing loss to driving those beasts and yet I can pick the sound of that motor out of a crowd and it still gives me goose bumps when I hear one. Yeah, it would look much more intimidating with rotting severed heads being used as hood ornaments, a nice thick layer of oxidation on every single metal part inside and out as well as some dried blood spatter all over. It also needs some giant hub spikes on every wheel and some sort of harpoon mounted on the roof. That is the typical Mad Max colorway/exterior trim option.

The first time I saw this on here my jaw literally dropped and I stared like a school boy seeing he's first Playboy magazine.. This masterpiece is beyond art... I don't know what that would be, but I can't ever remember seeing anything described as art that I wanted to touch until I saw this. I want to touch every square inch of this beauty, I want to crawl under it, I want to drive it, I want to work on it, I want to to polish it; I just want it! If I were a rich man I'd beg to own this gorgeous piece of art work. I'd have this beuty parked in my TV room so after I drove it and parked it, I could still enjoy it's beauty out of the corner of my eye. Yup, call me crazy with how taken up with this masterpiece I've become, but I've seen people go even crazier over lesser "art work"... It amazes me how people can think up such beautiful things and then actually make it happen...

I've been trucking since 1970. A buddy of mine had a '67 Kenworth VIT Aerodyne COE with a 12V-71 Detroit underneath, 15 speed Roadranger transmission. His CB handle was "Double Six". No one could catch him. If he kept his foot off the floorboard, he'd get about 4-5 mpg. Of course, diesel fuel was only around 35 cents per gallon. Those were the good old days... No schools, no snowflakes with their automatics and cellphones, just a lot of ratchet jawing on the two-way, good coffee and enjoying the road with your highway heroes.

I think this guy sets a high example for all people in the world to follow. You can be an absolute genius, and still be very humble. The Detroit diesels are the best sounding diesels. I'd actually drive a 2 stroke diesel if I knew how to work on them, and if they still had parts. But they do sound very expensive and not practical.

Jay that's nuts. one of the most amaazing customs you ever done a video on... especially with a two stroke diesel. Two stroke engines don't require valve trains. The weight and moving parts reduction make two stroke ideal for snowmobile and outboard boat engine design. Having no windshield wipers makes the car marginally useful anywhere but desert like climates.

Ignignokt Mooninite 2 stroke detroits where never naturally aspirated, they dont have intake valves, they have an air box that is set up with the fuel governer in the v gallery and oval cut holes in the sleeves to get air. Must be turboed or supercharged, most where both.
