Basically homeless. Hated by pretty much everybody except Celica, Rachel, Noel, Jubei, and Nu (Nu is for..... different reasons). His right arm and right eye aren't even his anymore. Willingly gave up his left arm to save someone else. Been stabbed more times than a pin cushion. Erased himself from existence, just so that everybody else can be happy and live normally again. Blake, Ragna is the LAST person you should ever say that to. Sit down.

I hope everyone understands that when Blake says “You don’t know what I had to go through.” Is referring to the battle rather than a comparison of their history. A comparison of history doesn’t even fit into their conversation which was clearly about the battle. Blake is a character that relies heavily on communication and having a leader during battle with teammates because if you have no coordination, someone could get hurt or die. I think she was expecting Ragna to be coordinated, hence why she says “I just have to follow along.” At the beginning, but when she finds out that she can’t keep up with him because he’s unpredictable, Blake gets upset that she can’t help without risking death when they fight together.

Noob Tube Her fair share of problems? What problems? Oh, being on the White Fang? People who did nothing to her? Racism? Not like she spent much around it. Still having her parents? Oh a tragedy. Having several friends that care about her? Oh so sad. What the fuck are you on about. And you're right, it's not a dick measuring contest. But even by RWBY standards she didn't go through much. Ruby lost her mom at a young age, suffering that trauma. Yang has abandonment issues and an anger problem. Not to mention now PTSD Weiss had her abusive home, literally being a puppet to her father Blake's life is candy land if we go by comparison.

Hyde's interaction with Blake seemed like a good mix between friendship and ship fuel. She accuses him for being a combat loving psycho (or a Carmine), and he just wants to show her that he doesn't like this either. In the end, they both want some peace and quiet. Dammit, why must Hyde be so sociable to make me want to ship him with so many girls?

Tell me about it. He is not too edgy or too goofy. He's not a total bad boy, but he isn't a total saint either. Combined with his big heart (dare I say, bigger than Ruby's), his funny expressions, his confident charm and his cooking skills, I honestly can't help but ship him with most females in the roster. His personality is just perfect. Edit: Seriously, a small part of my brain joke ships him with Hilda and Eltnum, for crying out loud! (I know it's obviously never gonna happen, but I'd just love to see how a scenario like these would play out). With Under Night, I mostly ship him with Orie and Yuzuriha. The only thing that puts Linne at third place is the body she's in.

Ragna got his arm chopped off by his own brother who was under the spell of a sword that made him go insane given to him by Saya and Terumi pretty much goaded him into it, lost the only caretaker he had before Jubei, resurrected as a vampire, and is literally the personification of the end of the world with tons of people wanting his head. You have a fucking family and mansion.

And finds out his beloved, thought to be dead sister's body has been possessed by an extremely evil goddess (since this game takes place before Central Fiction). Also, he technically has no friends that he can comfortably talk to and lean on for comfort. (Let's face it, Rachel is too mean to him, Noel+Lambda rarely have any chances to talk to Ragna not concerning the plot, he rarely bumps into Jubei to actually chat, Tao's too dumb and busy draining his wallet, and rest are merely allies that he doesn't really like.)

I know I'm 8 months late, but whatever. She was talking to the enemy. Hazama mentioned that they seemed dizzy. Blake's basically saying that the enemy was constantly trying to track them by sight, which would be damn near impossible with Hazama swinging all over the place and Blake's constant use of clones.

I see a lot of you are angry with the interaction between Blake and Jin. To me, someone who's played all the Blazblue games(from Calamity Trigger to Central Friction), this just Jin being himself: a stand off-ish jerk. So, don't freak out. Jin is not a racist to Faunus/Beastkins. Hell, Jin is also friends with Makoto(but that's mostly thanks to Tsubaki), who is a Beastkin(the closest thing the BB series has to a Faunus race). Long story short, it's just Jin being the usual:" I work better by myself" type of guy. We all know that he is a good person at heart(despite the moments when he goes into a crazed frenzy when it comes to Ragna, or whenever he is insulting Noel)...hmm, I thought I was pointing out some of his better traits. Besides that, I like the interactions Blake has with the other characters. My favorite one being her interaction with Ragna(mostly because Ragna is a badass and he ain't putting up with Blake's BS[and before you all get mad, just know that this is pre-Volume 4 Blake]).

I think a lot of the interactions are in character character interacting with in character characters from other series. Tha'ts why you don't see Blake being all pals with the Investigation Team or probably Shadow Ops, Blake before the Haven arc, wasn't very... social and making friends, she wouldn't be friends with Makoto, or shooting the breeze with anyone that's not Rub, Yang, or Weiss. There's fan service and then it's just doing what fans actually want, and the just fan service itneraction that's in character to people like Jin and Ragna is better... As much Jin is a ass to anyone that not nii-san, or Tsubaki

Out of all the people she would have an interaction with, Ragna and Jin were surprising. And I feel like if she had a choice to pick either one, she'd probably go with Ragna since he's not that much of an jerk compared to Jin and Ragna definitely wouldn't try or (in Jin's case) implicate hitting his allies.

TheMRanimewatcher I think the problem is that the English team was given their lines, but at the time of recording had no idea how long they had to say them, which is why in English some gave awkward pauses while others feel rushed. That one's on the Japanese crew for not sending the clips over.

Mike, TheAnimated Correct. He's also mentally unstable after being possessed by a ghost that made him try to kill his siblings and I believe foster mother and is implanted with the power of order which makes him compulsively desire to kill Ragna on sight. Oh and that sword of his causes madness too. Basically Jin is a train of bad breaks, bitterness, and mental breakdowns.

Is public enemy number one Has little to no allies. Is the one thing that can destroy the world. Has that same brother constantly trying to kill him. Has a Murakumo trying to kill him. "Maybe." Blake has a family, friends, only people that even care about her are the White Fang. And even that's a small threat. Her life is literally candy land compared to Ragna.
