Fullbring arc is like thriller mystery. It's more character driven than the other arcs, and making Ichigo finally get power to protect, but the people he want to protect are against him. He got power but there's no one to protect. He can't trust nobody anymore. And the last person he trusted was the one behind all of it. He took everything from Ichigo, and now Ichigo breaks down. Goddamn I love Lost agent.

People hate fullbringer because it's totally a change of pace for the series like before fullbringer it was just fight this fight that but in this arc everything calmed for a bit Ichigo is living his daily life although he's missing his powers too , This is the arc where he was being mentally tortured which can be seen even in the climax when he saw his Dad and Urahara his face says it all people still hate on this arc because this arc didn't had too much battle scenes and new powerups etc etc....

It’s not a bad arc at all. It’s just that coming off of Aizen’s defeat this feels like child’s play for us. I like the arc for what it is.

I feel like this arc came a bit early in time If it'd be airing today, people would probably like it since it's really psychology based, instead of just fighting, they really messed up Ichigo's mentality and his relationships I honestly liked it, felt nice to see Ichigo having a normal life instead of watching Hueco Mundo for 100 episodes in a row with some filler arc in the middle

Ichigo getting stabbed and his powers returning is an underrated top moment in bleach for various reasons. The page and a half of Urahara and isshin was shown in the anime. The issue was Ichigo had no spirit energy at all. I love the arc and glad I saw the whole thing. If there was an arc focusing on Gon, it would similarly start off slow too. This arc has really good animation too. And the power of these antagonists are much lower than before with arrancar arc although the next arc TYBW antagonists are OP af. Also the Byakuya fight shows how resolute he is here

So ichigos fullbring melded with his shinigami powers, thats why his lutfit and sword are different now. But since fullbrings come from hollow powers that means ichigo no longer needs his mask. He is always hollowed no mask needed. Imo thats the real point of the fullbring arc, to help ichigo master his hollow powers so they always work with him

I think part of what people disliked about the fullbring arc, beyond what others have already said, is that we don't get enough time to get to know the new characters. We get glimpses of their backstories but practically never the full thing, and several of them we have no reason to be attached to or to care about their fights. This issue is somewhat worse in TYBW, but at least many of the fights were cool, and had stakes bc they weren't all at the end of the arc

the eyes thing is just japanese culture/superstition I think, that the whites around the eyes can show someones' destiny.

It is culture, the japanese read the eyes a lot, that's why they don't mind using masks but dislike sunglasses While in the west we read the mouth expressions a lot
