I love watching your videos because you also explain why you are doing each step. I didn't even realize when using shadow catching you can adjust the transparency like that.

Good question Chris, I guess the sort of stuff that people would use after effects for. 2d motion graphics, simple animated elements for explainer videos or infographics. Why not just use after effects then? Well some of us are looking to have an adobe free workflow, for various reasons, but mostly because I just love Blender and I think it's an underutilize area within the Blender community and might be worth exploring... @@chrisprenn

hey man I stumbled upon your channel... it's really cool... I'm learning DaVinci Resolve but I'm really amazed with Blender..but it seems so complicated... can u assist ?

Hi, I use and love DaVinci Resolve! To learn Blender I highly suggest watching many tutorials and of course practice a lot! Just open Blender and try to recreate something you saw and then look for info/tutorials if you get stuck. You have to learn and fully understand the fundamentals of Blender first, though.
