Book Lover, I agree. Pinkie did make me chuckle in this episode, and this is one of her best performances. But other than that, not much happened.

Yeah plus the conflict seemed a bit rushed/last minute to me. But yeah, Pinkie was great in this; the yaks were presented a little bit better here then they were when they were introduced, but I don't know; this episode just felt off somehow.

Book Lover I agree, but for me this episode was great because how great Pinkie was made up for the strange-ish lesson for me. (But Im a pinkie fan girl)

This one felt slow compared to the last one. I loved A Royal Problem.

Book Lover I think the lesson was more, "Recognize when you need help, because it can really save you a lot of time, among other things." A lot of people are very stubborn and as a result hurt themselves and those around them.

The yaks weren't as bad as they were compared to their first introduction. But the lesson was just kind of uncertain really. But yeah, at least we can agree that Pinkie was great in this, and yeah A Royal Problem should have been the mid season finale, but meh it is what it is.

honestly, the yaks were never bad to begin with. they were just different and most people couldn't/can't deal with that. sure, the yaks are a bit rough, but they always had a good reason for their actions. they only ever got angry when they found out the ponies were lying to them or when they made fun of their culture, which, if you ask me at least, is a pretty good reason to get angry. did they express their anger a bit .. directly? sure, but it was mostly the ponies fault for lying to them to begin with. and once again, here we can see how nice the yaks actually are, when they aren't lied to or made fun of during the entire time of their visit. remember, not only did prince rutherford take time out of his personal schedule as ruler to tour pinkie around, he also pointed out they only decorated for pinkie's sake, and the whole avalanche thing only happened, because they were partying extra hard to impress pinkie. honestly they are doing a way better job being host to a foreign culture than the ponies ever did to them. to bad the moral of this episode was so weird or else this could have been a very good episode^^

RD: I thought she was awesome and really fun. She was immediately super appealing and my early favorite character. Rarity: In episode 1 I kind of rolled my eyes and thought, oh here is the super girly one. Then in episode 2, she kicked the manticore in the face and I wondered if I didn't misjudge her. Flutters: I thought she was incredibly cute. And nice. I think I knew right away she wasn't going to be my favorite. Pinkie: I thought she was a little on the annoying side. Probably could have been toned down a bit. 4: In a way. No they aren't. The ribbon is white, purple, yellow, pinkie, orange and blue (the Mane 6's coat colours) but RD's Element of Harmony was red.
