Watching this episode again, Moondancer is such a deep character. Her and Twilight were probably pretty close in school. Moondancer must have felt like she finally found someone who understood her and loved to study the world like she does. She was probably always a recluse, who felt left out or different from every other pony around her. And judging by her words, she thought she didnt even have value. So Twilight must have meant alot to her, which made her not even bothering to go to her party hurt Moondancer so much. Moondancer finally opened herself up to making friends and allowing herself to feel wanted by others. But the one pony who she felt closest too couldn't even accept her invitation.... That sucks ):

Oh, that's why we always see Minuette and these two as cameos and background ponies back at the other seasons! They were visiting!

This is definitely my personal favorite episode of the entire series, Moondancer was so relatedable to me, love her so much and hope we see her again in season 6! Great reaction. :)
