My God, there's so much emotion in this episode. I would have already been fine with just Diamond Tiara's redemption, especially with how well it was handled... but the addition of them getting their marks, without it feeling rushed, just puts the cherry on top of the cake. The first time I finished this episode, I was crying. And no, I don't care. It was a damn good cry. They tried so hard and they finally got what they wanted; that's fucking magical, dammit. 10 / 10. One of the top 5 episodes, easily.

+Danny Sylvain I agree. I think two big things happen in this episode which is also my favorite episode. Diamond Tiara being redeemed to me is also a big thing. The other one is probably by now most ponies err people know by now except for some reactors that have not done this episode.

This was such an intense episode, and a magnificent reaction to boot. Just makes you want to reach through the screen and give all the ponies a hug. Magical show. Bravo, sir.

Best episode. I don't care that there wasn't a world-threatening villain planning on conquest or whatever. This is just everything I've ever wanted from this show. If a show can move me to joyful tears, that's when I know when something awesome has happened.

You know that feeling, when a show that started as an awful commercial for cheesy rainbow-colored horses, a show that used to be the cue to turn of the TV and go play outside, kicks you in the feels, so hard that your eyeballs fucking hurt? This is beautiful, I don't even care if I'm being corny right now: Buck them neigh-saying Parasprites! Think big, will we see the CMC as full grown ponies when Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake find their true destiny? /), fully-powered 2016 edition!

+FireBreather626 Yeah...but then again, normally the letter stops where both sisters are looking straight ahead but in this outro the letter descended to Luna's line of sigh and closer to hert,even if the letter was for both of them Celestia must have thought something like "oh sis,look the fillies that you helped,they done it!" and made the letter goes down a bit .^-^

They did it that way because Luna was more of their mentor than Celestia was. It was for both of them, but Twilight must have addressed it to Luna because she knew Luna would want to see it immediately.

I am usually good at predicting but I didn't see the cutie marks and theme coming at all! It makes so much sense with hind sight. Bad Seed was probably an omen that MOST bullies are like that because they are victims themselves.

"Before Luna and I stood up to him, he ruled Equestria in an eternal state of unrest and unhappiness" - Said over the image of a window depicting him balancing ponies over a pit of fire - "I'm ready to use my magic for good instead of evil" - Said by Discord himself - Then there's the little fact that even though he didn't have to, he mentally tortured the mane 6 to defeat them - I never understood why fans don't want to say Discord was a great evil villain - Doesn't it make him cooler and a more credible threat?
