Best episode ever!!! Full fedora, Pie! I wanted to be one of those people commenting and being like, "It's fantastic!" But I refrained from it because I didn't want you to see it coming but wow it was amazing, right? I mean, the music, the plot, the cutie marks, all brilliant! You know what? I went to school with someone and she and her mother were just like Diamond Tiara and Spoiled Rich (although with competitiveness in grades instead of social standing) and seeing it in this show made me look back and feel really bad for that girl. AND THEN THE CUTIE MARKS! They make total sense! I'm so glad they didn't make us wait until the last episode or something for them to get them! And Applejack with her comment about the parents.... OH THE FEELS!!!! I CAN'T!!!

+PieDislikerSwag That's why I love Amy Keating Rogers :) I bet she knew all well that is't not that easy to deceive a Brony from smelling what's coming up from the very beginning ("few seconds in and a song already? ... oh, another song? something big is coming..." ;) ). And many did indeed! Therefore, she needed to make it look like it wasn't the case. And the answer is... LAYERING IT UP :> The first distraction was the whole election for the school president going on. This would make it look like one of those innocent episodes where the CMCs pursue their cutie marks and fail in it, because we all know they're not gonna get their cutie marks about being campaign managers :P But this alone would be too easy to see through. So another layer was needed, and it was... Diamond Tiara's subplot :) An what a subplot! :D It was so engaging that after a while I guess few would suspect that it is something else than a Diamond Tiara episode :) Especially when she finally redeemed: this alone was such a bomb that I guess at that point everyone was so overwhelmed by what happened that few would still remember about the idea that the CMCs are gonna get their cutie marks ;) And THEN it could finally happen :D

As a person who uses big-ass speakers instead of headphones, I nearly died when you showed the audio tracks, I was going to reduce the volume and you did it for me xD Also in your last stream I said "Diamond Tiara is best Diamond Tiara", now I feel like a gypsy. I loved when they got their cutie marks. :) I've seen a LOT of reviewers on here and yours is up there next to VoltWing's, reaction and a few others where the liquid pride was flowing freely and heavily. :) Oh this episode is my fave for the FEELS alone! My reaction to this episode: A song at the beginning of the episode? Hmm. Wow, these facial expressions! Oh my gosh, Silver Spoon just left DT! That actually just happened! WHAT?!? Are they actually giving Diamond Tiara a SAD BACKSTORY?!? Are they going where I think they're going?!? More amazing facial expressions! .......are.......are they....... is this..... Oh my gosh. Her mother is there?!? Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH! They're actually redeeming her! *Random, jumbled thoughts* Wait, are they...? WAIT, ARE THEY...? WAIT!!! .........aaaaaaaagh....Oh my gosh. They did. And it's amazing. *At that point, my mouth ceased to function as my mind tried to wrap itself around the fact that the CMC did in fact just get their cutie marks, and how brilliantly it was executed.*

Only it's superior. Better songs (In my opinion, the only song in MMC that was above average was celestia's ballad, in CotLM all songs were ranging from above average to "OMG BEST SONG EVER") Better pacing (It's still a little rushed, but it doesn't feel as trainwreck-y fast as MMC) No commercialism (MMC was an episode made to introduce a new toy, CotLM doesn't Satisfying character development (In MMC Twilicorn came out of left field, In this episode we have 3 notable things, 2 of which were already bound to happen/get revealed (CMC getting their cutie marks and AJ and Appleblooms' parents being dead) the third is Diamond Tiaras redemption, which while not expected at this time, alot of people hoped for it, so this idea has been around for a long time)

You literally seemed to have a Happy/crazy breakdown in the reaction, So crazy you I believe lost some parts of the ending song. Mainly Main6 singing and some references here and there. The crusaders are going to be most likely on a glass window in canterlot and it'll be great. Oh and Appleblooms cutiemark did have a Apple. all of the cutiemarks represented their talent. and since its the same, they will always work together.
