i heard a small bit of what appeared to be the soundcheck earlier and it sounded a bit better to me, this full version still sounds better to me than matt (both live) tbh, idk what it is with matt live with blink it most of the times sounded a bit off to me, though i do appreciate him stepping up for tom back then

absolutely. No matter who wrote the song in the end, I'm glad they don't lock this Blink Era in the safe and deny it. A lot of bands with changing band members do that and it would be a shame because there are some good songs there.

There's a direct relationship between how much money Tom is making with blink-182 and how willing he is to actually play/sing anywhere close to what the song actually needs. The more money to replenish his To The Stars coffers, the more he's willing to buckle down and give a shit. When the coffers are full, he stops caring and flounces.

Blink in 01 to 03 was amazing. The Self Titled album was their absolute peak. That album was their master piece just before they hit all the snags. It's been peaks and valleys since then. But I like that they are on the move and the rise once again.

Before anyone starts saying “they should re-record this with Tom, it sounds so much better!!!!” Just think about how much you’d be crying your eyes out if they re-recorded any of Tom’s songs with Matt.
