I roll pretty slowly because I'm rolling to make videos or for my own pleasure, rather than having to bust out a ton of cigars per day in a factory. On average it takes me about 3 minutes to bunch and 3 minutes to wrap, so 6 minutes each.

Wow that was so informative to watch. Thanks for the upload. How does the price of buying your own tabacco and rolling the cigar yourself compare to buying the finished product with the same ingredients? And how long does it take to learn how to roll roughly? As a budget and new cigar smoker this might be somethjng I want to try
@BlissCigarCo
@BlissCigarCo 15 күн бұрын
These are hard questions to answer. It's easy to suddenly have spent a lot of money on rolling equipment and tobacco, money which could have been spent on commercial cigars. Once the initial layout is absorbed, it's maybe $3 per stick for the tobacco. How long it takes depends on talent and time. Full-time trainees take a year to get to the most basic level; and yet, with a kit and trying to copy my moves in my videos, you can roll a smokeable cigar on your first try.

What is the blend of tobacco you are using for this cigar?
@BlissCigarCo
@BlissCigarCo 4 ай бұрын
Looks like I used the Ecuador Habano maduro for both wrapper and binder, and the probably 1 Domnican Seco, 2 Brazil viso, and 1/2 Nicaragua ligero. Almost 100% of the flavor and aroma of a cigar come from the wrapper and binder, so basically this is a maduro-flavored cigar.

That's encouraging because I am going to receive some of that Maduro wrapper next week. I have been working with Connecticut broadleaf, love that flavor, but very difficult to work with given the veins and the thickness. I find it takes me 2 days of dry boxing before they will burn properly (unless they have a good six months of aging). Broadleaf is very fussy about its binder. I've had most success so far with Nicaraguan Esteli viso, for other blends as well. Beautiful leaf.
