Perfection. Toss in a bottle of the cheapest liquid dish soap you can find into your fitting box. Works amazing to lubricate the pipe for the fernco fittings and will not deteriorate the rubber.

Were i worked at p.s.d. for 21 years.we used a jetterall most everyday..we worked the main sewer .you allways get some sort of stoppages .it will go fron 8 inch to 24..sometimes it could be back up for weeks..you would not beleave what people put in the sewer..the jetter we used is huge.700 gallon tank. 2400 p.s.i.it will take you off your feet..600 feet of hose .1 inch..if you get it stuck. .sometimes its reall hard to get loose.i said i never want to do that sort of work again .we did do some personal lines 4 inch..and then i started watching you.

Hi Gavin. Have you thought of keeping a full spare change of clothes for times you are covered in mud/ crud as I'm sure there are many customers who would willingly let you have a shower, even in a granny etc flat for privacy. You may strike it lucky. Mum in Adelaide.

This is just one of those things where there is no good way to get it fixed. The best way would be to dig it all up and replace it with schedule 40 PVC (at the minimum) all glued up, properly pitched, and allowed to set dry long enough for the glue to cure and then bury it. Now it is just get things put back together good enough to work and last a few more years. Homeowner should start socking away money until the good fix can be afforded.

You had a fight with this one. Could have done with your help a month back. Had a blocked kitchen gulley. Used our Nilfisk pressure washer with a 20m drain jetter attachment. Took over an hour as the pressure is no where near as high as yours. Quite satisfying though.

I've watched enough of your fun videos to wonder why the contractors down there use such thin pipe for these storm drains. The stuff looks eggshell thin. I mean it's a good thing for you and your fellow cleaners. Good job security, but the contractors just come off cheap and ends up causing the homeowners trouble they wouldn't necessarily have with a more robust pipe, less likely to crack or on the curb collapse if driven over.

Try getting a shovel that has a point on it it helps to dig better love watching

That looks like bentonite clay that. Like you were drilling a well.

Personally, I would have dug out all of that pipe from the downspout to the part where you cut it, re- engineered it by laying new pipe from downspout down with fewer bends and making the angles more sweeping and free flowing. As it is now, looks like it will be likely to collect more crud and be even harder to clean out. Great work with the 22.5 and 12.5 though and getting it to line up well

Amazes me people like these underground pipe storm drains. So easy to clog and hard to clear. When I buy a house I dig them up and grade a shallow wide "ditch" so water can flow on the surface. Easy to rake out debris. Guess people like flat lawns, flooding and calling plumbers.

Could've been fixed ages ago before the rain..... Yes, that's true, unfortunately, sometimes the problems don't appear as intense until the rain comes and you see where the problem is. Like spraying soapy water on gas fittings or bicycle tyre tubes under water to see if there are any leaks to fix. That's why professionals like yourself will always be in business as one day, everything is fine and fair weather, the next it buckets down and a blockage becomes highlighted. Love your work, videos are great, although I think your little offsiders need a kick up the pants to help more, or bring in some more.

You should get yourself a braided wire saw for cutting pvc pipes especially when they’re close to live mains, less risky and easier cutting
