Yea, they patched it way way back. Its still a OP spell though

8 bit is awesome, im just finishing up 100% then will get some more vids done. Flame Cannon lasts to the point you can reach 8 bit, then you need to switch to 8 bit to remain overpowered. Its easy to upgrade as well, just needs money! The skull necklace accessory which adds more than 50% or so to the damage makes it even better, I normally equip that for bosses ;)

@@Optinooby I'll do a 100% completion on normal as well. What accessory is the skull necklace? I might have it but don't remember.

@@0twaster0i02 I think.you get it from the dead people quests as a reward. It increases MP usage, so its not great to have on all the time, but its great for killing bosses quicker

What a surprise, they are really messing things up with all these patches. I get bug fixes and what not but they are changing everything and im sure this will continue

Its actually only OP for the first half, its no so good in the second half and requires you to switch up a bit

Better of Farming and using 'summon:bat" imo.

I used flying sword for about 80% of the game. So useful and although the attack is weak it’s utility is great. I was only able to upgrade it to oracle once I reached the last area, sad really would have loved to have it earlier. But the oracle is still one of the sickest weapons in the game.

I have another guide for cheesing him, not sure if works on nightmare. 100% first, then will give nightmare a go, what carries over?? May do NG+, then a fresh nightmare afterwards..

To be honest i've not done much testing with them yet. That Flame Cannon shard honestly gets you through the first half of the game easily and havent progressed past there. There is a weapon that drops from a scissor lady after the 2nd boss and its hits like 6 times a second, pretty good. That Flame Cannon, if you take some time now to go back to the ship and farm those five cannon enemies till you are grade 9, then upgrade it to rank 7, you will do between 200-300 dmg per use. Took me about 30minutes btw the farm grade 9, but I hard that fast weapon first that I speak of above. I do plan to test ALL the 8-bit coin weapons eventually and probably release all the info in a video later. For now though I meed to get through the game and gain a lot of gold so its easier for me to experiment ;) Btw: ive not been back on the game yet since making these vids, work and stuff. Once back on, im sure more vids will pop up ;)

The poison shoes are pretty good, poison damage in general is pretty fantastic in this game.

Im going back to this soon to make a Platinum Speedrun, hoping to get it near the 5 hour mark or just over. Sort of route is planned, just gotta practice and clean it up Yea quite a few things have been patched since released, you cant make Flame Cannon OP to begin with anymore ;(

I agree, the game provides many many options, but this is very easy to acquire and you even gain it via story. This is but one method of many, this is one that you can acquire within 10 minutes though as advised ;)

It's just the next one up from 8-bit that you use to upgrade 8-bit weapons into there 24-bit variant. Then you go upgrade that into the 32-bit variant!
