It’s wild how hype Bloomburrow is. WotC revealed some concept art and everyone got excited about Universes Within Redwall. The cards and story might be garbage, but woodland creatures let’s go!

I'm a casual commander player. I only buy commander decks and a bundle for each set. I've already pre-ordered the decks the 2 player starter and a box. I have never bought a whole box before Bloomburrow. This set will do amazing!

Along with the whole animals side of it, I feel players see Bloomburrow as something new and refreshing, not just the same characters/spells with different costumes. Whiile that comment specifically takes a swing at MKM and OTJ, even other standalone sets from their plane is more of the same with a different costume and makeup. Innistraad, Ixilan, Eldraine,, etc.. It's my personal belief that this was a large factor into Phyrexia's success. People want new fantasy worlds to disappear into and wrap themselves up with. The thematic sets are great and all, but being able to sever that tie to normalcy just launches you into something completely enveloping. PEople like their vampires and werewolves, but hey.. they're still human-based. Phyrexia and Bloomburrow are going that one extra step. Another plug for Bloomburrow is.. IT HASN'T BEEN DONE BEFORE IN MTG. That's real big. Like REAL big. It's fresh and new, and while the shadow of MH3 looms over it.. it's still a whole new experience when it comes to playing. I have no delusion that Bloomburrow is going to be packed with outrageously expensive cards. Not banking on the second coming of Sheoldred and Mana Crypt. But it will have art and characters that players will want. It will bolster all sorts of themed decks. If you want the raw power, that's going to be MH3. It will be fun, whimsical, have some new mechanics, new crossover combinations, a number of relevant tie-in cards.. maybe even a few "big hitter" cards. Most of all, it will be a breath of fresh air and it will appeal to potential new MTG players. #BOOMSTICK

I’m so excited about this set. For Thunder Junction, I pre-ordered only two Commander decks but Bloomburrow is another situation as I’ve pre-ordered all for Commander decks, a play booster box and 3 Starter Deck sets. This is going to be a smash success! I feel it!

For collection boxs you only need 1 right to get everything same for a booster box and just the 4 precons?

im so gonna buy like 3 to 5 boxes of this set i love it so much and nope i got no money but saving a lot at the moment for it OMG im sooooooo so so hyped for it!!! want my otter deck to get better!!! OMG i rly want an animal deck with only cute animals gosh im so excited for it!!!

Boomstick and go, Mr Prime! I am certainly interested! But I still have so many cards on my want list just now it feels odd to ignore them and just dive into a set so far out still.

I can’t see comparing this set to fallout…..fallout is way bigger when it comes to appealing to a larger audience plus the raw power creep in fallout cannot go unmentioned. My opinion could change closer to release but so far it seems pretty tame on power. That being said power doesn’t push a set like bloom burrow; it’s synergy being that it’s more of a tribal type set. As of now I’m still personally cold on this set and I’m more curious about what thunder junction has to offer tbh.

I will preorder some BloomBurrow products. Thank you for the video Mox Man. BloomBurrow is a standard set so Wizards will print a lot. I am not worried about allocation. Over time, there will be a lot of it out there.

While I'll admit that the art is certainly pulling on the heartstrings and capturing views because of the cute art in this set, it remains to be seen how well it will play out. It's going to be very interesting to see how the cards in this fit in with existing tribal decks and how some will form new tribes. Unless there's good deals on sealed, I'm loathe to spend too much this year on MtG as a whole. This is a great year to be investing in general and building positions in various ETFs/stocks/bonds/etc.

It’s cool that people are excited for it. I think the theme and art is what is getting people obviously since the set hasn’t been released. But this is just a standard set. First printing of certain cards yes but power level will be made for standard under the fire design. They do need a good set to feed the parasite hasbro. God speed wizards.

As an Infect player, my interest in Bloomburrow is niche and focused on what I see as a high chance of new pump spells at Instant speed being printed. With all the little critters running around, it seems fitting for cards to be printed to buff them. Granted, the buff may come from tribal effects, but all Infect needs is something like an Embiggen to release, and Modern Infect will have a resurgence. Of course, something like Invigorate could get reprinted in MH3, but that's a big if.

Bloomborrow will be a fine stad alone set as well.

MTG the Redwall edition. I mean I loved those books as a kid so I’m game. Feels like a lot of players aren’t aware of that series based on how “creative” they think this set design is lol.

Bloomburrow is on pre sale for a few weeks already ... no mention of serialized cards (though expected) so what if .... they print even the collector boxes to demand .... they've got like 5 months of print time .... 🤔🙄🤥😬🤐

The few posts I've seen over the beadle and grimm stuff on fb were bashing them. Apparently people have had problems with the quality of beadle and grimm vs what was promised. I'm sure they will make a killing regardless.

I just hope that the starting cost at release is not $170 US. per play booster box. They tried that with Karlov, then it went to $150 and settled at $120. I paid $115 on TCG. If enough folks pay $170 before release then $170 it will be. Play booster box should not cost more than $130 ever.

Demand doesn't really impress me. The longer WoTC has to see the demand, the more over printing they are comfortable doing. I'm more interested in sets people thought were going to be bad, but suddenly were decent.

I hope bloomburrow or MH3 (or both) will be even half as powerful as throne of eldraine it might be an ok set👽

I have this theory at the back of my mind that WotC intentionally watered down recently released sets to set us us for MH3 and Bloomburrow. Anyways, squirrels sold me 😂

Prices of boxes are just going to spike like Fallout, im taking a break from wotc. All my cancelled Fallout boxes turned into 15 boxes of Star Wars and I’m liking the change. Maybe I’ll pick of some singles of the new Wotc releases but not at these prices.

I can understand the people that are excited for bloomburrow. I can also understand people that are hard pass on it. I don't think this has the universal appeal like LOTR or even D&D. It might be a little better than Wilds of Eldraine, certainly not as good as Ixalan. The Play Booster pricing is the wildcard that could cripple it like MKM and OTJ. If they force the issue with loads of powerhouse cards you start to look at power creep being a real problem in selling ever more expensive standard sets. Thematically, sure it's different. But it looks and feels like a one-off set, just like the last handful of sets. It's like all the story continuity of the game died with March of the Machine.

I don't get it... an mtg set centered around small fluffy animals???? HARD PASS for me - couldn't be farther from the mtg vibe in my opinion. Honestly there is literally NOTHING releasing this year that even remotely interests me - I will be skipping everything and putting my money into singles for my commander decks and expanding my reserved list collection.

I don’t like the flavour of bloomburrow, Im saving for modern horizon 3, Marvel and Final Fantasy and singles from older sets i need for the collection or deckbuilding. Don’t really get the hype from the set. To each his own i guess.

whether people will admit it or not, everyone loves furries. it's partly because of why we wear clothes, and how our naked skin is not always pleasant to look at. But furries with a good story!

Pre-ordering? I'm skipping it entirely. Not even going to the pre-release. Haven't gone to a pre-release since last summer. When there are so many different card games out there and all of them are better quality than Magic, why buy magic? Why give your money to the greed monster? Lack of will power? Don't have to work hard for your money? What's the reason to be an enabling damaged card collector? It can't be the nostalgia when most of the characters from the 90s are completely gone besides Karn.
