I have a new replacement 212 predator hemi for this bike. had some fun with the old engine and attempted to blow it up.

True story: i gave my doodle bug to my brother for his birthday this year since hes only 12 one day he says he hears a little knock coming from his bike and doesnt know what it is. Since it was due for an oil change i changed it and it seemed to still have a knock but very lightly after that i took it for a spin since i wanted to make sure it was good to ride and so far it was great but as i got maybe 3 minutes into the ride i notices the bike got slower idk how but maybe a few seconds after i hear a loud pop and the bike starts to slow down as a pain started in my leg. I look down and noticed the spark plug was completely gone completely like zero trace of it and my leg got hit by the spark plug which is crazy considering that the plug was torqued down exactly like it was supposed to. I get home and try a different spark plug and notice that all the plug threads on the head are completely gone like wtf.

I’ve got one of these motors and I put a Honda gcv series carb on it and it easily tops 8500 rpm, an absolute screamer. Way more torque too.

Be careful the flywheel doesn't explode on you

@@shno_deela6986 yup, it’s a flatty, keep in mind the flywheel is quite small so it can tolerate higher speeds

No oil means faster because oil is heavy

Man i hage a doodlebug wuth a 97 and it ket me go 34mph and is like 25+yrs old, if j get my 212cc then ika put that engine in a bicycle

I got a baja warrior 200 and i beat the piss out of it i took the exhaust off and everything and i drained the oil and ive out everything imagineable in the gas tank and ive had the whole engine full of water and the mf still starts up and idles fine and it still runs
