First, thanks to Red FM. BLS in all countries faces the same issues because of the monopoly by Indian politics. I wanted to renew my passport from the Dubai branch. With all my documents, I reached there, but they rejected my photo. I had taken the photo outside, so I then took a photo there, and they accepted it. I visited Surrey for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). After a long wait, I reached the front desk. All my documents were verified and accepted, but after another long wait, they refused. Next, for my son's passport renewal in Vancouver, I prepared all the required documents. I reached there and was refused three times before they finally accepted it on the fourth attempt. This has been my bad experience with BLS. However, in India, TCS provides one of the best services. My second passport renewal was done through Tatkal service, and it reached my home within 24 hours. I was amazed.

Same happened with me. I went with an appointment. They said your address is incomplete because there is a missing " , " in your address. 😢 I was asked to come later or I can pay 100$ and get the premium lounge service. So I gave the 100$ because I cant waste my time with these frauds.

I am a international student i stay 700km far from their nearest office , and i called them they are fools they dont have any information to provide any information regarding passport issues, They are useless shut them down soon.

BLS brought their Indian office working cultures here, give them money under the table then you'll get your work done!

Everything people are saying is 100% true.. that all happened to myself at Brampton BLS. It took me 1 and a half month to get in. Went there walkin 4 times but couldn't get in becauseof the long queue and please note I went to stand in line between 6.30 to 7 am am in January winters .. somehow managed to book an appointment date after a month of waiting in February. Then again they found a 1 simple mistake and asked to pay 100 for correction right away in the name of premium lounge service. When I requested I will get it corrected and be back in 30 minutes, they said no either book another appointment or stand in walk in line to come back after correction. Its impossible to get back in walkin line because even after 5 hours of standing you cant get in and I simply couldn't wait another month to get a appointment date. I felt so helpless and had to pay 141 dollars in total and finally my PCC pplication was processed. Utterly disgusting place with so much of exploitation of common people.

They are money suckers…all they want is to sell their premium courier services, photos, photocopy…and wait wait wait . Worst service .

Calgary office is great, never had issues with them, yes I made mistakes as well and had to go back but they were just doing their job to make sure all the documents were correct.

When we renew the Canadian passport they also charged a per person courier service. I applied for 3 people off my family and paid separately.

Good initiative RedFM. BLS is very unprofessional, Their website lacks all necessary information, they force you to opt for courier service so that they can send your application back for minor mistake and you pay again and again for courier fees. I paid $62 courier for surrender certificate. after a month I apply OCI and I paid $120 for courier fees. they sent my application back for minor mistake and this time courier fees was normal to $62. (when I asked they said it was higher for few weeks and now it’s back to normal) my wife went in-person for application and they forced her to opt for courier. when she denied for courier then they found new ways to make money : said you need new photo, 2 set of photocopies for all documents (not mentioned anywhere on website)

In emergency service at Windsor hospital 12 hours I have to wait in the waiting area.

As simple as that, contract has limited expenditure Amount assigned by the Indian Government. So unless the Indian government increases the contract amount, services quality will not improve by hiring more employees.

You have to follow their rules as they follow Indian govt rules. Simple

BLS is so messed up. I missed my day at work and i have to wait 2 hour outside while I have booked an appointment before time. I went in and they said this and this mistake is there please take our premium service and we will correct it . Otherwise at base rate we will not correct it , you can either pay or keep coming back.

You are Indian Govt service centre dont expect world class service expect same old Indian sarkari service.

Mera Vancouver BLS ke sath experience similar raha tha. It took them 4 months to get the police verification from India. BLS ka response time is pathetic.

BLS is the worst organization. My passport renewal is pending for two months and still no reply.

BLS is horrible in giving services , very rude behaviour and non cooperative attitude...

These Punjabis comment vigorously on Indian system but do not open their mouth when they have to wait for 7 to 10 hours in Canadian Hospital's Emergency services.They do not open their mouth when they wait for hours for their turn with the Doctors. They do not open their mouth when they have to wait for 3-4 weeks for an appoint with a Doctor and Pathological lab.These people talk of corruption in India, but will not utter a word against the corruption by the current Canadian federal government.Indian government should not give these fellow an OCI cards as they just find faults with every Indian system. These guys happily support Khalistan.Once they surrender an Indian Passport, these guys should be treated like foreigners and shall not given any special status in the form of OCI.
