bruh the fact that the line can interpret the space in between the notes the same and be clean with the quarter notes and quarter note triplets it’s crazy. some people might not find that hard but puttin space between notes will throw you off so quick if your not careful. they do good man

High school tenor player here, does anyone have any tips for figure 8's? I can't get them clean fast at all, maybe there's a technique to it or something, but I just taught myself them and I'm struggling

Its less of moonwalking as it is marching backwards without keeping up on your toes (or platforms) it looks beautiful when they all do it is as a line tho

Who writes blue devils battery music and what is with his or her obsession with quarter notes? I swear it seems like 50% of the last few shows (and looks like this one as well) is just the drumline banging out accented quarter notes or some times with shots. Edit: also goes for straight quarter triplets and sometimes 8th notes

That sounds so similar to the drum feature in metamorph, a lot of reused licks with that kind of punchy, syncopated sound, and all the grandmas... Nothing wrong with that, I guess, just would like to have heard a new style with their lit, but I suppose there's plenty of that in the rest of the show ☺️ pretty damn smooth moonwalking, I must say

I feel like dci and wgi is just a competition based on who can play the same exact thing cleaner. I'm sorry but all these drum breaks that BD is doing is just the same. I feel like that with almost all groups but that's just me.
