My parents bought me tickets if the Twins advanced in 2006 to the ALCS, when they didn't make it I cried. As each post season loss and series loss mounted I lost more and more faith. Yesterday and especially today I cried tears of joy! Let's go Twins!

The pickoff at second was the most excited I've ever been watching a twins game, but on another note Brock Stewart was throwing some nasty stuff. Also I think the louder crowd helped Jax's spin rate, normally I'm not a huge fan of him but he was throwing the best he ever has imo.

That was 2 days of solid bullpen work. Jax has some awesome stuff just some how is very unlucky at times.

Two things turned the game, Correa calling for the pick-off (which apparently he had in his pocket since the first inning according to Gray) and the absurd jumping of the gun on pulling Berrios when the Twins weren't touching him.

From an mlb starved Okie…That was such a fun couple games to watch. Seeing a couple live Twins games on vacation back in the day was enough to make me a fan. Happy to see em doing so well this season.

I’ll never forget when Kirby Puckett hit the walk off homer in game 6 in the ‘91 World Series against the Braves. I was 23 and I had 2 little kids. I remember trying to stay quiet because they were in bed, but I couldn’t. My wife got upset with me because I woke the kids up. I didn’t care. At that moment , I felt so much pride for the team and for Minnesota, it was indescribable. My son is 35 now and hope he can experience the same thing.

The best part of Michael Kay and Alex Rodriguez calling this series is that we not only beat the Yankees this year but they got to call our two game sweep to advance in the playoffs after they started our losing streak in 2004.

I'm only one Yankee fan, but I'm personally happy as fuck you guys advanced and knocked out a division rival in the process. Minnesota is one of the few other AL teams I have love for, when I was a kid Johan Santana was probably my favorite pitcher in the game. Kay and A-Rod were probably happy for them too, they hate the Jays lol. Plus now they move on to Houston, the team the Yankees never beat. If the Twins knock the Astros out that would be huge for them.

Thank you so much for putting us out of our misery, i endlessly envy the fact the Twins organization has people in charge who do not make decisions based purely and only on analytics. Jays completely destroyed their own momentum by pulling their best pitcher before he was even at 50 pitches because “that’s what the numbers tell you is the best thing to do”. What a joke. Good luck in Houston

I'm envious. I listened on the radio, but watching some of the highlight videos, the crowd seemed extremely loud. Almost as loud as the Metrodome crowds during the '87 and '91 World Series.

Correa talked about the crowd noise drowning out the third base coach -- from the video the crowd didn't seem especially loud at that moment but you can definitely see the third base coach trying to yell to Guerrero to get back

I really wish I could see the video of the plane ride to Toronto. And I bet someone's asking for a trade tomorrow morning even though they can't do anything at this point. I can't believe I'm making this comparison but the Minnesota Twins are doing what the New York Yankees did to the twins each time in the playoffs in terms of not swinging at bad pitches and making them pitch to you, it's a lovely thing to watch

Taking berrios out is absolute proof that all pro sports are legitimately scripted and choreographed for ultimate entertainment and eyeballs. Being a true Minnesota sports fan this is sad. I’m going to go have a meaningful life now! Sorry everyone

I don't believe it was scripted, I think the managers were looking at outdated stats from earlier in the season showing the Twins struggled against left handed pitching.

Could anyone imagine Harmon Killebrew, Mickey Mantle, Rod Carew showboating around the bases ? Kirby Puckett's showboating was different because it was a walkoff. Mr Lewis - knock it off, bad sportsman ship, nice pickoff Sony and Carlos, but screaming and body slamming 😂😂😂
