I have it. It's miserable. People just think your rude. I don't want to explain a medical condition most people don't know exists whenever they get mad at me. I remember people by how they make me feel, but if there's a major appearance change I don't know who they are. My father shaved once and I couldn't pick him out of a crowd. Weirdly dreams are a bit better. I can usually recognize people in my dreams.

Or I remember as a kid I had to do homework but I literally only was able to see a sheet of empty white paper and didn’t see anything of the written tasks. I wonder if it feels that way with face blindness. They see heads but can’t really see shapes in the face which makes it hard to distinguish faces. @@PeyloBeauty not really. See, we can see eyes and noses and such. We just don't see them as a whole. If I have a model sitting in front of me I can draw their face. I have to go piece by piece. But I can't remember the face of my own mother. I saw her 2 days ago but I don't remember what she looks like. I don't tell people apart by their faces because I don't see the face as a concept. I can see the pieces but not the whole. I differentiate people by context clues. Hair, height, voice, etc. If I see people out of context I have a hard time figuring out who they are. If I ran into my mother at the grocery store we would never know (we both have it). I also can't recognize my own face.

The context is there and she's got some very specific scars and stuff that I know. But if I don't know she's there I won't usually catch it. After all, we’ve seen other cases in the series where either the buyer, courtesan or both do something to lower the value, such as the sleepwalking cases back in episode 3. It’s hard to tell what Lakan truly feels, but I think he really does care for Maomao. I think he wants to be closer to her, either out of curiosity for her, as his daughter, or as the child her mother birthed. It could just be a twisted love, but love nonetheless
