That shot at the end of Blue Thunder flying in the sunset was reversed tape flying forward. LOL

Funny note: the russian Kamov KA-50 and KA-52 helicopters have a "Sniper" mode in their canons wich allows the pilots to fire a single 30mm shot for maximun accuracy and fire the cannon in semi-automatic mode

What I like a best about this episode, is showing the targeted aircraft and Blue thunder in one frame seen both aircraft in one scene , I have never seen that in an episode in airwolf, where airwolf is targeting aircraft. They show the target aircraft and airwolf and separate scenes

Personally, I like Blue Thunder more than Air Wolf due to the design of Blue Thunder (And it being based on a Gazelle Design), as to where(Air Wolf is based on a Bell Design with wheels).

Air wolf could get a running start. It once did when it was surrounded by four choppers by finding an opening and turbo boosting on the runway. It also had sparrows and who could forget the intro? Blue thunder was always fighting world War 2 jets. Why couldn't the Soviets provide better planes like MiG-19s or 21s when they did supply them to every yahoo in real life? Airwolf actually fought MiGs and was much cooler even if you had to suspend reality like how it would randomly fly into Soviet Union multiple times. But the soviet caricature is the Hollywood Cold War for you.

Well airwolf has the ability to go mach 1 plus but both are awesome

@@-GH0ST-idk._. Airwolf mach 1 is still science fiction to this day. Even the new Sikorsky S97 Raider only manages a third of Airwolf speed. Can't break the physics laws of retreating blade stall.

@@knot3d_ Airwolf's airframe was a lifting body, it didn't need the rotors to stay powered for lift once it got moving forward fast enough. Of course, even freewheeling, the rotors should have sheared right off at Mach 1, they'd have to fold them and tuck them inside!
