Gabe, you just made my day. I normally wouldn’t watch these cat videos but when I saw Luke I knew it was gonna be a good one. Respecting Luke’s feelings by freeing his catfish earned you dad of the year in my book. Awesome video showing father son interaction is the best.❤

I live in Hinesville, 25 miles east of Jesup on Hwy 84. Jones kitchen has been around a long time. We used to eat there every Wednesday, I was one of the Army recruiters and we would take applicants to the National Guard Armory there to test. That was from 1985 - 1988.

I'm excited to watch this vid because I'm an old river rat and I LOVE IT! The new camp ROCKS! Now look, I'm always gonna love my Kel Young, but Crystal seems like a great gal as well, and she's got that country in her! Lastly, if John Wayne fished a john boat, it would damn sure be a Pro-Drive. Gabe, that rig of yours is absolutely THE PERFECT SLED FOR THAT RIVER! The quality of videos and fun that area is going to provide will be outstanding!

Also, looking forward to some summertime night fishing for those cats! TIP 1: Using old school Coleman lanterns to watch lines, wrap aluminum foil around HALF of the glass globe. No more sudden blindness, the mantels last longer, less problems with the wind, and probably better for filming? You won't believe how the boy's will love it! TIP 2: Take a foot of heavy pipe big enough in diameter to hold any rod. Then weld a piece of steel rod strong enough to never bend with ANY fish. Sharpen the end of the rod a bit so it easily go's into any ground. Hit them with some bright day-glow paint, and they'll last FOREVER! 25 years ago I was night-fishing and met a guy who was down there on his break from the Ford plant near the river. On his next break he brought me 6 of these "tough as nails" rod holders and they STILL work perfect!!!

That Nature’s seasoning is pretty good. We use it quite a bit on just about anything. This whole video made me feel nostalgic about running lines with my grandpa in the summer on Lake Travis in Austin. He’d always say “I wonder what the poor people are doing?” while we were pulling up jug lines in a leaky 14’ Jon boat with a 5 horse mariner.

Very entertaining video Gabe, it is so far from my lifestyle up here in Montana. It amazes me how casual you are around gaters, and other critters that can alter your appearance, but then I guess you get used to your own "normal". I've never been in the swamps, spent my life farming and ranching the plains, hunting mule deer and elk, fishing for trout and walleye when we had some time. I have come face to face with quite a few prairie rattlers tho, and after 74 years I'm still hangin' on to all my parts, but they seem to be movin' slower. (me not the buzztails) 🤠 Blessings to you and yours!
