Bluetooth technology inside of hearing aids is undergoing a major transition. For nearly a decade the majority of hearing aids have used special accessibility settings (MFI for iPhone and ASHA for Android). New standards from Bluetooth will overhaul that approach and bring some incredible benefits to consumers.
In this video we talk about everything you need to know about Bluetooth Low Energy Audio and Auracast.

Thank you for this clear information. I have a set of Signia C&G T 7IX HA and these have LE. The thing is that I would like to hear the sound of my PC trough my HA. I even bought a BT 5.3 dongel for this but its not working. It seems that the HA have LE but it cannot connect to a PC. Frustrating, and good to know before you buy an expensive set of HA. Secondly, it seems that the Signia Assistant is not available in the Netherlands, big miss.

Thank you, Blake, for your concise, yet easy to understand explanation of where we stand with Bluetooth connectivity today. And also for the list of phones and hearing aid devices that have already incorporated Bluetooth LE. That would be a valuable list for us hearing aid wearers for you to keep updated and current, and include the date of the most recent update. We are in a time period of change, and there is a ton of both misinformation, and many users who have no idea of how Bluetooth works under the hood. All this makes it hard to know what to do when buying a new phone and/or a new pair of hearing aids. If what we're using today is working, it may be wise to wait for manufacturers to catch up. Thank you and your team for your willingness to bring us clarity and information we can trust.

Blake, another very nice video which explained LE audio well. I do have a question. Does that mean that since the Oticon Intents having le audio that they should work with any le audio transmitter? For instance, I would like a transmitter for my computer so that I can use my Intent 1’s to listen to audio from it. I know that I could buy a streamer from Oticon but I would rather use newer technology if possible. Thanks, Mike

My Galaxy S24 Ultra and my Galaxy Buds Pro 2 support LE Audio. To get the world to fast track LE Audio Apple needs to get on Board. Roomer has it that LE Audio will not be included with the Iphone 16.

I think you might be talking about MFI. Good point that Apple didn’t invent the underlying tech. They did pioneer a connection with hearing aids (MFI) that could protect power consumption needs
