F33 Owner also [2015 428i MSport with sports seats]. Wanted a hard top convertible. I cross shopped Lexus IS convertible and the infiniti G60 convertible. Day to day living this kills the competition in regards to trunk space and rear passenger leg space so I got the BMW f33. Pro's- BEST in class trunk space with TOP DOWN compared to other hardtops (Lexus IS and Infiniti convertibles). I can fit 2 carry one luggage while the BMW hard top is folded in the trunk! -Best in class rear leg space compared to Lexus IS convertible and Infiniti G60 convertible. Good for quick 30min trips with adults around town or for small kids. I can sit behind myself comfortably for 30min trips. Other minor nit picks- No temp "sync" to keep both sides same temp. If you still play cd's no "repeat" or "shuffle". Brakes are not too good for this heavy car.

I have a regular 428i coupe that I've had for about three months now and oh my god the door slamming!! People riding with me always SLAM the door and it makes me cringe. You don't need to close it that hard, please don't do that!! Great channel and great content though, deff subscribing! Your production value is insane for being a small channel! It's great to see people appreciating this car cause I love mine. It's gorgeous and it's so fun to drive.

You definitively have an upgraded Sound system, if it is pumpin. I got plain stereo, which is just boxes in the front (nothing in the sides, just the ones above center consol). Its the first thing I have to upgrade. I wonder if the convertible has a different backseat area, but im over 6 feet tall and i have more space in the back, even though the front seat is adjusted to my size. And I have long legs!

Looking at a 428 or a 435, I know a bit of a jump in prices since it’s a 4cyl to a 6cyl but for sure a M package. Doesn’t matter what you get as long as it has the sports package. Definitely looking for a coupe no convertible but stil looking

Great review! Had my 428i coupe for two years and I just love it. Sound is not as good as a 6 cyl of course, but it compensates with fuel economy. Agree with the annoying audio Bluetooth missing. How did you upgrade it? How much did it cost? I would also add it is quite annoying that the system is not compatible with android.

Instead of painting the stock brake calipers, you should just save up and get the M-Performance brake upgrade. It's gonna cost some money obviously, but getting better brakes is never bad thing.

I would have to say that my 2015 428i Xdrive Gran Coupe is a little different but in all same overall. I just put 60k miles on my car and overall its a solid car. Thanks for your coverage of your car.

@@044alord I would try and talk them down a little because my car to sell is 17k it has some blemishes but keep in mind the upkeep to keep the value of it inside and out. I traded in my 2014 Lancer for this car and it's like night and day the performance and ride of it. Just look at your pros and cons of it and make the choice. I am happy with my choice.

Maintenance has been pretty standard. Oil changes, spark plugs and fluid levels. Obviously changed tires a few times as well but no serious issues thus far.

They’ve had Bluetooth for awhile as far as Apple CarPlay I believe that’s newer like 2017

Didn’t have any issues with it! I do know the n20/n26 engine is infamous for timing chain issues. I guess I was one of the lucky ones

All I had to do was regular maintenance. Oil changes every 3-5k miles and spark plugs one time. Never had any issues as far as reliability

what do you do whenever someone wants to take you on thinking its a 435i and they have a car in the 435i class? Beautiful car by the way, but l dont like that screen, its too small and looks cheap for a car of this class

Thank you! Now that my car is tuned and have a catless downpipe I can compete with 435i. Considering the 435i is stock. And I do plan on doing a swap for the 6 inch screen sometime in the future . It looks a whole lot better!

Nice. Thanks for the response. I recently purchased a 435i 37k miles convertible and definitely will be rocking the 15% here in Cali. Sick whip by the way, especially the diffuser with twin pipes, the base 428i exhaust tips are plain ugly. I feel they did it on purpose.

You can’t listen to music via Bluetooth. You have to use an AUX cord for the BMW I have.

Unfortunately my lci F30 msport with the beautiful estoril blue with m400 wheels was totaled. Sad day for sure. However, I am now the owner of an F33 with the same paint, wheels and msport. The drive isn’t as nice as the f30. Will have to upgrade that for sure. Bimmertech here I come.

@@littledope3993 it’s not no ordinary car like a Toyota of course. Changed engine mounts, high pressure fuel pump, oil changes but I use AMSOIL European Formula 0w-40 every 8000 miles with filter change every 4K, engine air filter, wiper blades, transmission service because I want it set for the next 50k miles. The timing chain issue is the big one on these engines but AMSOIL like I said is keeping it like new, replaced headlight bulbs pretty easily with Marslighting ones. The car drives super good and very comfy especially after I serviced the transmission. I learned to do all maintenance by myself off KZfaq. Metoy3r helped me do my first ever oil change by myself actually. I’ll be doing brakes mainly after a little bit. If you take care of it, it will 10000% take care of you back.

@@meti9230 it all depends on how the past owner treated the car. I replaced what I think was a lot for a car in the first year of ownership. I also forgot to mention that I replaced ignition coils and spark plugs as it was misfiring randomly every so often.

My E46 gets 25/30mpg...I'm gonna miss that when I move to my next bimmer. Cupholder hack Get the cupholder coaster or a coaster. Put those inside which will keep the nasty stuff down and extra scratches.

It depends on if It came with it from factory. Some do some don’t depending on the packages they chose when the vehicle was built. If not you can always code in Bluetooth audio. I have a video on how to do that. It’s called enhanced Bluetooth audio

Mine is a 2014 428i. And the difference between the 3 is the engine size. My 428i has an 2.0L N26 engine. Most 430i have the b48 engine while the 435i (fastest) has a 3.0L N55 engine.

Yeah man I would so I abuse my car a lot. I go to car meets every weekend and I’m constantly putting additional stress on my engine and still no issues. I keep up with the maintenance though

Yeah I beat on it and still use it as a daily with no issues. Common issues I have heard with this model is the timing chain.
