BMW E34 M5 S38 - Alternator Restoration

Here is my bmw s38 alternator which I have restored over the last couple months. Due to a pretty rocky disassembly; I had to replace quite a few more parts than I’m used to.
Steps include:
Strip down
Arrange hardware
Degrease/clean components
Zinc plate process
Mask and spray
Reassembly

Engine stuff is on hold currently due to a lack of funds! So I’m working on the suspension/steering components of the e30!

Great videos mate, where do you get the parts for this car? What do you charge if i send some of the bits so i can get them zinc plated

Thanks for the kind words! I get replacement parts from the bmw dealer, and any second hand parts usually just from ebay or Facebook! I currently don’t take other peoples items just yet, it is something I’m looking to do once my own projects slow down. Thanks
