Take A Look As We Upgrade this Brand New BMW M2 COMPETITION whilst Removing its factory Harman Kardon. Many people ask if we can upgrade cars with aftermarket systems like this, truth be told these systems make up the majority of the work we do. A wise man once said, "two brand names getting together for profit does not a good stereo make."

This particular M2 has come straight from full PPF from Topaz via the client to have his upgrade system fitted, consisting of Eton front speaker upgrade, Audison APF8.9BIT DSP amplifier and Audison active subwoofer amongst other things.

They're better than most OEM option speakers to be fair. Half the time you can leave the HK speaker in and add amplification if budget doesn't fit.

Nice simple job, so no toslink breakout box as such (can’t remember the proper name for the device, but takes a most signal extracts what it needs and sends it on in the most ring)? Assume you tapped front and sub from hk amp to high level in on the audison amp? Then summed it and sent what you wanted from there onwards? Lovely install Carl and team.

I want to have a custom speaker pods into the A pillars of my 2024 M340i to accept the Dynaudio 3.5” Esotec mid and tweeter so that they are on axis. This makes wiring alot easier for active xover to each pair of speakers. Does anyone make a digital interface so I don’t degrade the signal converting from high to low level?

Do you run a capacitor in line with the tweeter in an active system, to protect it from any turn on pops etc? Thanks

Hi, I have the Logic 7 on an E92 coupe. Is the speaker/underseat subwoofer upgrade from Audison a worthy endeavour or should I change the stock amplifier first?

Is there a way to re-integrate bass control to the oem bass adjustment on the infotainment system whether that’s BMW, VW, AUDI?

@@Studioincar that makes complete sense having full control over just the subwoofer and not interfere with the components is key and with the oem audio setting do you leave them completely flat and tune via audison or whatever processor your running

You better of using Spotify on high quality with the in built eq it makes a huge difference with nearly no distortion at 90% volume and its crystal clear.

@@Studioincar awesome that’s me sold then! I have an 8.9bit in my f56 running active front, bridged on all channels, so 130 to the s8’s each and 130 split between the mid and tweeter. Thanks for the reply Carl, definitely the final step to ad the 8” in then!
