Powers BMX Shop is a BMX only bike shop in Richmond Virginia. Chad Powers first got a business license to operate Powers BMX in 2009 and has been running it ever since. In addition to being a bike shop, there is a complete BMX museum with incredible history, there are also outdoor and indoor ramp setups, as well as a stage in the warehouse for punk shows. Powers BMX Shop is also a BMX mail order where anyone can order parts to be shipped from this location. Chad was nice enough to give me a tour of the shop, ramps, and warehouse so check it out! Chad Powers is an amazing person for not only BMX in Richmond, but also BMX as a whole. Stay tuned for the BMX Museum tour video coming soon!

Back in the day i had shop. It was called spoke and gear. I learned a lot it made me a rad rider! .... 30 years ago. But its one thing about bike shops that bring me back is the smells. Parts may change styles may change.. but the smell Never die!

Chad is also active on many online groups/communities and shares info. Such a helpful guy. He personally answered a question of mine the other day regarding a standard frame and when I saw his name knew I could trust the advice. Awesome dude with such a sick shop 🤟

Brooooo, me to from contees on broad street in the super early 2000s. I ate it so many times on that thing learning how to ride street and casing dirt jumps. Great memories. Six pack bros💪💪💪

@@Brant_Moore I just watched the new video, DUDE THANK YOU!!. I’ve seen glimpses of it in other videos that were poor quality, so it’s awesome that now there is a crystal clear video of the LE profile stuff at powers, I could be wrong but I would assume that’s the biggest collection there is. Just got a new subscriber

Im in Europa, Dutch to be precice and custum taxes just f*cks us up costwise and taxwise, and this way we just cant support real bmx btands, as most just produce in countries stuff being welded up, and/or being sprayed or getting powdercoater by KIDS who will never be able to ride a bmx, nor get a decent LIFE ♻️❤️

HERE IN VEGAS, ARE JUST FEW SHOPS, BUT THE EMPLOYEES OR OWNERS ARE SO MISERABLE PEOPLE, THAT THEY JUST PLAIN DESRISPECTFUL... They think their selling ROLEXES AND FERRARIS, no wonder in this town people buying on line instead.
