BNSF Galesburg Yard trains and lots of engines April 5, 2022

2 жыл бұрынBusy day at Galesburg on a misty grey day, The GAL GAL leaves while the sun shines early in the day, the Galesburg to Barstow, IL and return local. Power moves on the bridge and a single ACE leads a train into the yard. Coal trains and a grain train off the Barstow line plus the Northtown KCK. I consider SD40-2’s in BNSF paint to be underrated as they look really nice. That BNSF #54 switcher looking unit was cool, then the GP60B #334, #9712 SD70MAC, and lastly the 3 Green BN units with what looks like a B unit. Very neat catches.

nice seeing SD40-2s, poor things are a dying breed on railroads, nowadays they're only either one switching duties (like here), local trains, or shortlines, kind of a shame

Did you see BNSF 1455 in there? Is it possible to see?

1455 is the north unit on the 302 humpset. You can see it in the distance right at about the 4:00 mark.
