i love that he fidgets. when I'm on camera, or have to do a speech, i would wanna freak out like with my hands and hair and just look everywhere and show that i was comfortable or nervous. i like that even someone on stage still does that. shows how human they are. He is a very real person, as in, he hasn't been hollywood'ed. i know that sound so stupid to say(considering its not a real word) but he's not fake. he is still the guy he was in his room back in the day. i give full props to him.

2:25 ...That. That is what he brings to his comedy that everyone else is afraid to do. It's easy to be edgy or on the fringe but no one has been able to point fingers at everyone watching yet still make all of them laugh and want more. Bo is a genius. He somehow makes the uncomfort we feel about society and ourselves just.... well, just slightly less uncomfortable.
@jones2tl
@jones2tl 9 жыл бұрын
I like his comments about the "PC" crowd, very interesting look on the subject. It probably explains why Brian Regan will be one of my all time favorite comedians. He has a "clean" routine for a lack of a better word, and is still hilarious to me. I find that extremely impressive. Of course I still love the less "PC" comedians!
@ZyxthePest
@ZyxthePest 8 жыл бұрын
+jones2tl I think, in the time since this interview, the PC crowd is something that's very real and has become the mainstream. The problem is that they're not the one's creating anything, but instead, the ones who are judging others and "critiquing" them. The issue is that if these people have their way, comedy will be sanitized of anything controversial. The context of comedy is a powerful tool that let's us discuss uncomfortable topics in a different light. I too, feel like we can have someone like Brian Regan (who's hilarious btw), but we can also have someone like a Louis C.K., to balance everything out.
@80hdvamp59
@80hdvamp59 8 жыл бұрын
What's a PC crowd? ;-;
@JamVar
@JamVar 8 жыл бұрын
+Kayla Leal PC is political correctness. So, it's just people who don't like "bad" language or "insensitive" words. Like they said above, Brian Regan does a cleaner act, while people like Bo, Louis C.K., and George Carlin do less politically correct acts.
@HexIsme
@HexIsme 8 жыл бұрын
+Jam35Var1ety I wouldn't say it's even all people who don't like cursing, I think the root of PC is actually pretty well-meaning, it's just that when people use it as a method of censoring/shitting on others that it becomes problematic. I think the root idea of being PC is really just to think about what you say before you say it, and be more empathetic to others. Sensitivity and empathy tend to go hand in hand, although they aren't mutually exclusive, which I think is the part that the hyper-sensitive crowd who use PC to harass/demean others doesn't understand.
@JamVar
@JamVar 8 жыл бұрын
yeah, that's true. i think it definitely had a good premise to start with. unfortunately, overtime, people have used it to control people's speech and thought, which is where my issue with it comes in.
