what happens if an infantry Unit enters a territory defended by only a AA gun?

Then, it is a good day to be an infantry. The AA gun is destroyed automatically and the attacker wins the territory. (This rule varies in some of the earlier versions. ) However, an AA guns in a territory does stop the blitzing ability of tanks. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

What if an air unit fly over a territory (just passing by for whatever reason) with a AA gun? Can the AA gun shoot or no?

Question: can you put multiple anti aircraft artillery on a single territory and if so what happens?

Thanks for watching! Yes, you can place more than one AA gun in the same territory. If that territory comes under attack by enemy air units, the defender gets to fire the AA guns at up to 3 air units per AA gun present. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for watching! Anti-Aircraft Guns only fire when a territory comes under attack. Air units can fly over without being fired upon. I hope that helps!

No, AA only respond if the territory comes under attack by enemy air units. Passing through has no effect. Thanks for watching and good hunting!

Hello, very good video, but I have a question. I have the 1942 version and my question is if there is 1 antiaircraft in a territory and they are attacked by 5 fighters, how many dice do the antiaircraft 3 roll?

That's correct. Each AAA can fire up to 3 times and each air unit can only be fired at once. I think you've got it! :)

Air Units vs 1 AA 1 air unit = 1 die 2 = 2 dice 3 = 3 dice 4+ = 3 dice I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

Great video thank you!. I have a question… I arrive to this video for the name, because I am looking for a video that explains and teach how Artillery works, not AAA but the one that add +1 to the infantry. I have some doubts, about this unit. I am not sure if it works or not if when no infantry is beside one, that is the main question, but I would like, if you have a video explaining this unit to watch it and clear all the doubts for this one. Thank you again.

Let's see if we can clear this up. Each Artillery unit gives a +1 to one Infantry unit when attacking the same territory. This is a 1:1 ratio... 1 Artillery buffs 1 Infantry. If there are no infantry present, the Artillery can still attack alone, hitting on a 2 or less. It can not effect any units other than Infantry. @@BoardGameNation Perfect, that solve one doubt, still I have something else here. If you have the artillery and the infantry, we say that this add +1 to the infantry, but... it counts as one unit? or two units? I mean... if you only have 1 infantry and 1 artillery... do you have 2 attacks? one dice with (with result 2 or less to hit) for the infantry plus one dice (2 or less to hit) for the artillery? or just one dice (2 jor less to hit) only for the artillery+infantry? Thank you!. And yes I watched the video, I will do again.

I watched the link you sent me, it was exactly the part of the video where artillery is used, I didn't get that before, I saw the video but you sent me directly to that part that obviously I forgot or didn't pay proper attention at that part. Thanks a lot, it answer my question. So they are separated units, always, just if the artillery is present besides its own attack it adds +1 to infantry. Thank you!

What A&A version is this? I never new AAA can only shoot 3 times at4 planes? Shouldn’t it be 4 shoots? And I thought AAA can be destroyed

Thanks for watching! This video is a full explanation of the rules for AA Guns for 1942 Second Edition. The rules for Anti-aircraft Artillery have changed over the years. Based on your questions, it sounds like you enjoy the Classic game from 1984 or 1986. In that case, you are correct. A single AA gun can fire at all the attacking air units and can't be destroyed (only change hands). I am fairly sure that this set of rules for AAA changed in the Anniversary Edition to what is in this video and has been consistent ever since. I hope this helps! Thanks again for watching!

Yes. The only unit in the game that can't hit air units is the submarine.

If the Germans later captures the damaged industrial zone that they damaged in your example, do the Germans then have to pay to repair it, so they can use it to attack Moscow?
