Join me as I sleep on Little Rippa for the first time before heading offshore to target jewfish, mackerel, dolphin fish (mahi mahi) pearl perch and more. After another night sleeping onboard, I chase squid in shallow water around Moreton bay and give plenty of tips on what to look for and how to catch them.

Thanks Garry glad you liked it mate. Just running a 60 ltr Brass Monkey fridge and it runs off the lithium 12v system mate.

Hey Greg. Would you have a screen shot depicting tge wire weed bottom in about 100 metres Re Pearlies. Just upgraded tge vessel and wanting to give it a shot with electrics. Cheers Bob.

Hi Bob, When people think they're fishing thick wire weed that gives big shows on the bottom its not actually correct. It's normally a hard bottom with a combination of soft and hard corals growing on it and wire weed is just one of them spread out among it but it's spaced apart more than people think. People see it looking thick on the sounder and assume its wire weed they're seeing when in fact its just small resident fish sitting close to and above the bottom that gives that assumption. Obviously this is an ideal habitat for pearl perch and I'm often looking for large targets among the live bottom and bait before I drop a bait. Hey mate mine is 2.3mtrs long by 2mtrs wide. I feel it's a bit big but does it's purpose well. It came with the boat so not sure where is was made. Most marine upholstery guys make them but. Cheers

I charge them home before heading out with a victron battery charger and while i'm on the water the outboard runs through a victron Dc to Dc charger and charges the lithium batteries
