Boats by the River (BBTR) - The Mopar Fuselage C-Body Show
Ein Mal im Jahr treffen sich in Erden an der Mosel Mopar Fuselage C-Bodys der Baujahre 1969 bis 1973. Das speziell und ausschließlich für diese amerikanischen Full-Size Straßenkreuzer ausgerichtete Treffen findet seit 2016 statt und lockt Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa mit ihren Fahrzeugen an.
Höhepunkt der familiären Veranstaltung ist jedes Jahr die rund 100 Kilometer lange Ausfahrt durch das wunderschöne Moseltal. Es ist für alle ein einmaliges Erlebnis, wenn eine schier endlose Schlange dieser knapp sechs Meter langen Limousinen, Kombis, Coupés und Cabrios durch kleine Weinorte und über elegante Brücken rollt.

Much respect - I believe the fuselage C Bodies are some of the most beautiful American cars ever built. Yet here in the states, it seems no one (even MOPAR fans) cares about them very much. It’s great to see they have such a passionate following in Europe!

Yes but it's horrifying that all these were overseas. I love C bodies more than any other Chrysler product. I have a 81 Lincoln mark VI and and 76 continental coupe that i bought for under 20k but I was freaking out trying to get my hands on a 73 New Yorker for 13 but I got beat to it

We love them 😂 Here in the uk they are abit of a cult thing. Not many about, with fuel economy and modern cars.

I have 2 sea bodies, 74 new Yorker and 77 Newport. Both 2 door saint Regis vinyl Todd. C The new Yorker on my car story Under 74 new Yorker Brown.

Amazing! I never knew such a thing existesd anywhere in the world. I thought they were only liked in the US. I always liked the C-bodies. I had an aunt who owned a 1972 Plymouth Gran Fury Sedan in a golden metalic color when I was a little boy. It was huge and very impressive!

I am *sure* that this is the biggest C-body meet ever. amazing! am surprised so many in Germany. Here in the States, the B-body tends to overshadow everything else, but the big Mopars were amazing road cars and super good lookers, so deserve this level of appreciation.

I grew up with a 1966 Chrysler Newport and a 1972 New Yorker. Also owned a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger and a 1976 Plymouth Volare. The last Chrysler I owned was a 1992 Concorde. We were a Mopar family. Great to see all those big old C bodies still on the road.

I grew up in Montreal during the 1970s when these were everywhere on the streets, however I have never seen such a concentration of "fuselage" C bodies in one spot. Many of the Mopar shows of today focus on the A (Dart/Valiant), B (Charger/Satellite), and E (Challenger and Cuda) body cars, whereas the C bodies are very rare. By the way, the "Lakehead Motors" dealer sticker shown at about the 8:58 is likely a Canadian car from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Lakehead Motors has been a Chrysler dealership for close to 100 years, according to the website. Nice collection in such an unlikely location.

I recently found a 1968 Sport Fury. (April 2023). Rough shape. Last drove 4 years ago. 383 commando. Floor shift auto. No title. Thoughts? He gave me a price. I'm tempted.

Just another Thing to Thank America for. If it wasn't for us you'd all be driving BMWs or VW beetles . lol I have many c bodies myself and a D body 67 Imp . Love the sound of all those Big Blocks . The 60s are my Favorite they are a little bit better car . But thats ok we'll keep them in America . where they Belong .
