Miss my Babbitt buddy. Babb and I were friends, and we wrote and recorded together. I have his amazing bass on a few songs we wrote together. I miss my friend. Looking forward to seeing him in heaven.

Great tips!!! I've been playing for 31 years and I am a light player, but recently have been playing in a rock band and struggling with speed, THIS is what I needed as a reminder. Thanks!

Yup... Lighter touch... Muting gives the thump Stretching n light touch, combined with breathing to keep the muscles oxygen rich... All especially good for older fingers!!! Bob B. You are missed!

Definitely one of my favourite bass-players....one of those where....the 'notes' you don't play are just as important as the ones you do.

It really is a travesty - Bob worked with Fender for a long time developing the bass, which should have been released as "The Babbitt" signature model. Then Bob passed and we get this. :(
