I think that Bob himself acknowledged the fact that he was biracial / dual heritage , what ever we want to call it. Maybe just maybe that was a a starting point of him wanting to unite the world ? Just a thought ! And maybe we should respect the fact that he had both black and white heritage. Perhaps we should celebrate that ? One love ❤ I am a white mother of dual race children, I have alway taught them to be proud of who they are . I also have a white daughter and taught her to be proud of who she is. They have all grown up to be successful in their own right, I brought them up on my own and worked 3 jobs at one time. We all do what we have / need to do to survive. May have been considered poor but, we were rich in love and still are . Just like so many others. X
@millana1005 ай бұрын
@susanswales8313 nope. It seems more likely that Bob Marley saw how much fighting there was in Jamaica, America, and the rest of the world and just wanted people to get along, respect one another, and be at peace. He was very Afro-centric. That can't be denied. He knew where he stood in the world; at the bottom. Having a White absentee father got him nowhere. Besides, who would be proud to have a father that was essentially a plantation master.

Yes, I have a little story of my father. I am white, my dad was what you would call a "Red Neck" white man who grew up in poverty. He had been a racist until the 70s when he started to change. My dad hated my Jimi Hendrix music that I would sometimes blast on my stereo, he loved his country. Years later I went to visit him. I had brought with me some Bob Marley albums that I had taken to a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a long time, He hated Bob's music, but my father asked me about these LPs and told me to put one on his stereo. So I put on a Bob Marley Lp in my father's living room expecting him to tell me to get it off like my old friend who was now into Disco & Disco Dancing. Well, instead of just grabbing the record or yelling at me to take & go, he started to Dance, he danced around the living room with a Beer in one hand, I could not believe it, that even my Red Neck, former Racist was dancing to the music I loved so dearly, music performed by Black men that was quite different than Merle Haggard or Hank Williams. He really enjoyed it.

GOD done that on purpose, so you could see the NICHOLITES (The house of Santa) but the same line GOD uses is the Same line the devil does that's the truth. That's why you gotta have discernment, the toddler doesn't think the way an adult does therefore they have better discernment when it comes to spirituality closer to HIM than we are. I corrected my grandson it's what we are to do, but I wasn't going to leave him wonder well if they ain't the same then why do they look like they are. I gave him the truth, it would be a sin to lie when I've done our family tree and it proves Marley was singing truths, "is there a place for the hopeless sinner, we've hurt mankind to save us", 😢❤️. Promise my kinsman we're gonna do BETTER till our BETTER is BEST and we gonna educate the rest. GOD doesn't do religion that's man. GOD wants us to be as little children and LOVE WITHOUT CONDITIONS.

The world would not know the Marley name if it wasn't for Bob Marley and his music, love and his children. There is a documentary on Prime called "Marley" It goes from his childhood to his homegoing. Rest In Paradise Bob 🙏

The gift of embodying two disparate groups of people - you can understand the struggles and insecurities of the system. The struggle of the oppressed and the insecurities of the oppressor and decode those issues with more clarity than being on one side or the other. It's hard because we are not black enough nor white enough...but we were born enough according to JAH!
