Featured here is an excellent chess game between Bobby Fischer and Pal Benko from the 1959 Candidates Tournament. Fischer plays the Sozin Attack, and Benko responds with 6...Qb6, the Anti-Fischer-Sozin variation. After Fischer creates a pawn duo with f4, many kingside attacking ideas become available to him.

Rook d1 is so hard to play in this position and calculate all variations. Such a nice, calm move. This is why Fisher is the best ever. So nice, so simple, every move with the purpose.... Excellent game and lesson for us mortals.. ;-)

Thank you for another excellent analysis. I've been attempting/efforting at chess for over 60 years. Gosh I wish you were doing your excellent work when I was 12, "I coulda been a contender." (Apologies to Marlon Brando and On the Waterfront). I always gain something from my visits to Chess Network and for that you have my gratitude! Peter

In the game, 19. Nh5 was played. But why couldn't Fischer go for 19. Nf5 again, to freeze the f6 pawn, just as you showed in the other variation?
