What you're doing looks extremely similar to the "iron body" training associate with some Okinawan martial arts (which I practice). I knew this training was said to have come from Shaolin martial arts, but I have not seen many Chinese stylists actually practicing or teaching these methods. I've seen even fewer practicing them in a way that is so clearly and directly transferable to self-defense training. Thank you for sharing your methods and offering your thought on the topic!
