I'm a 62yr old lady who absolutely love your style. I agree with you. As an " OG"( original gangsta), thrift store shopper. My house , my wardrobe and just about everything i have, has been from Goodwill, yard sales, thrift stores and estate sales. Unless I tell people where i got my items , they would think i spent a fortune on things. i always made what i could and sometimes i would match thrift items with handmade.( i learn to sew many years ago) I agree with you about spending money on good quality things . you are my kindred spirit little lady! I love what you said in the end! I'm a single mom and nearly all my clothes and my kids clothes is thrifted, or sale (h&m and a shop called New yorker here in Holland) and i'm creative (mostley boho) but my daughter who is 14 is even more creative, she has her own style, matches up things, styles and hats, jewelry, belts, and stuff. Not everyone at her school gets it, but she is getting compliments most of the time! And i'm so proud of how she is creative. Sha has a massive clothing closet though. In Holland the thrift stores have these weeks or days where they have sale on clothing and most of the time it's 1 euro a piece, zo we get outselves many items for not so much money love it!! You inspire me so much! Since i watch your video's I have a different way of looking for things and finding them!!! Thanx!! My daughter loves your style also!! And when we go thrifting (my son likes it also btw) she helps me to find me items aswell! Thrifting also is a great way to spend quality time with my kids! Where my daughter and I shop for home decor and clothing, my son loves cd's, dvd's and books. When they were little i took them thrifting in hollidays so we had something fun to do, they bought toys or games, or stuff to play outside and the rest of the day they played with their New toys! Family games are also great to shop at the thriftstore... fun for the rest of the day guaranteed! ❤

My favorite thing about you.. is you ARE your style. You put everything together soooo beautifully. Whether it be your house, your outfits, etc. Its so amazing to me that you know EXACTLY what you like.... it sounds like that should be an easy thing to do but its REALLY not. You have an amazing eye and everything about you is a beautiful bright shining light.

Girl, those gorgeous necklaces would look good on a hand painted hook on the wall they’re sooooooo gorgeous !!! Loveee. I have a few of mine like that and I keep them out because it makes me happy looking at them. The detail in yours is priceless. It’s so nice to have some wonderful pieces to ground us and keep us up. It seems many of us connect with you and your sense of style, I also think to myself "this young lady is my kindred spirit"! You're a delight and I can't say enough how I enjoy your videos, especially while homebound. I love all the outfits on you, I can't say I have a favorite but I will likely copy several. I too love your style ! I’m a woman who’s going to be sixty five in February . My husband says I dress and decorate the house like a peacock ! And most of the things I own are also garage sale yard sale resale shop and handmade things an most all my furniture is older as well even antiques . I have gotten things many times at auctions too .

Hi Merry Christmas when you showed the plaid pants I said no no but once you styled then I loved the outfit. The table scape was so different from anything I have seen this year. The tablescape was out of this world. The baskets were a killer deal. Holiday outfits were definitely creative and you look wonderful in each of the them. Always looking forward to new videos by you they make the day brighter and just loved the creative level you're at. You are a rock star! Your DIYs are incredible and your styling off the charts. I am 58, turning 59 in January and I am just crazy about everything you do. I really can not pick a favorite because of all the awesomeness. Here is America the black race is basically considered mutts, we don't know our origins and I would be shocked if there a full breed total descendent from the mother land among us. I am so in awe at how you put things together. Your ability to see how things will come together is amazing to me. I was wondering if you would dress someone else who is not as slim as you are so I could see how you would work your magic on a “fluffier” person like me. The “Russian doll” look is my favorite (and so is Dyer Maker!).
