There's something about the way Gordon Ramsay talks, it's like you can see the food coming out of his mouth, and taste it. It like he can already taste the meal he's talking about

Well, it is said that chefs can be somewhat clairsentient/clairgustient. (I hope I spelled that right) It may sound wierd mixing paranormal stuff with cooking but to me it explains how some people are incredibly gifted with having a clear image of taste. Besides all the practice of course.

If you buy your eggs unwashed and store them at room temperature, 4.5 minutes in simmering water will soft-boil them; however, if you buy washed eggs that require refrigeration, 6.5 minutes will give you a perfect soft-boiled egg. Pop them under cool running water for 30 seconds to stop the cooking process, then peel them under running water!
@dogpetdog
@dogpetdog 5 жыл бұрын
who asked you?
@doyouwantaspoon
@doyouwantaspoon 5 жыл бұрын
@@dogpetdog was just a public service announcement for people in the USA who have to refrigerate their eggs. FDA requires eggs to be washed, therefore they need to be refrigerated and will be cold at the time of cooking. Gordon is from the UK, where they do not wash their eggs, so his are stored at room temperature and will require shorter cooking time.

No British fighting the Vietcong. It's actually a reference to the soldiers of the Boer War, who were frozen in terror at the sight of all the dead civilians. The egg represents the lost mothers.

It just means stripe cut food lol but only British ever use it that way I don't know anyone else that call them soldiers. In Australia you just call it a stick, well, it is a stick.

i have three teens and cook just like G. R. does at home. they love it. i would buy 3-4 meat frozen pizza and the four of us adds anchovies, fresh onions, olives, mushrooms, and some times zucchini. frying french or sour dough bread in bacon fat is good too for breakfast w/ fried tomatoes, potatoes, bacon, calf liver ( English thing). dad taught me chicken n dumplings and curry foods.
