Good looking small knife. It goes on my list, if priced right.

Thanks a lot for the review! Very nice knife. I want to add that i like the 440-steels. I bought several knives with D2 steel, and more than 50% of them had rust after some days. I never had such a problem with my 440s ... And my 440s are pretty sharp and hold the egde long enough. 🤗

Thanks for sharing. I'm pretty sure that D2 is a semi-stainless so I would be surprised if it would not rust that 50% you observed is probably because of the different surface finish if all would have let's say a bead-blasted finish untreated with any anti-corrosion inhibitor than all 100% of them would get rust in a few days in the pocket mainly due to the humidity and temperature exchange. The 440 series is stainless but it has also some serious corrosion problems just a few weeks ago I tested a 440C blade that I have carried for a couple of days in my back pocket and I got some rust spots just from carrying it not even using the knife. I use Aegis Solutions EDCi on my blades because I got rust even on my S30V strider. Have a great day.

This is a cool design so is the new Bluejay button lock but the steel is going to scare alot of people away. I ordered the Bluejay for a review but dont see myself keeping a 440A knife..

Yes, you make a good point it is a strange decision to go with 440A and 440B I got the bluejay and I understand that one is even cheaper and you will see the difference I will post the video tomorrow. This two and two more knives round-up with the Toxicofera the new series of budget offerings with different micarta from Boker magnum.

I'm liking it. Funny how this is actually cheaper than the upcoming Böker Plus Kihon DC with a D2 blade🤔

D2 is more expensive but my best guess would be that they have to pay royalties to Lukas Burnley also it it a larger knife.

Nice little knife. Looks like it could have come from a Ganzo factory, comparable to the FH924.. Thanks for the video.

Interesting point Ganzo never bothered with using patented technologies in the past also it would be half the price.

I don't see why not. I just don't recommend it the axis lock can be a pain to put back together.

Boker is famous for German quality. Why is it made in China. Sad times.
@nerv5th
@nerv5th 9 ай бұрын
It is made in China so that it is affordable if you don't like it then just look at the Boker manufacturer Solingen product line this is from the Magnum line and they are all made in China sub 50-60$ There is also the Boker Plus line made in china and Taiwan do cost from 75-150$ and they have also the Boker Arbolito those knives are made in Buenos Aires mostly fixed blades so no Sad time but good times you can pick and chose from a wide range of manufactures and designs.

@@nerv5th is there any large historic German knife manufacturers left?
@nerv5th

@@GMU8 yes Boker if one of them there is also www.otter-messer.de/en/ www.guede-solingen.de/en/messerserien/ klever-solingen.com/company/about_klever/ www.eickhorn-solingen.de/Eickhorn-Products/-Military-Knifes/Combat-Knives www.wusthof.com/ to name a couple there are much more smaller companies but most of them specialize in tools and kitchen knives not folding knives.

You can still buy Boker knives made in Solingen… but not for $40 like this Boker Magnum.
