分かりやすくてとても参考になりました。私は手拭いハンカチと冷感の生地の組み合わせがお気に入りです。綿ポリか何か分からない家にあった生地だけで作ったものが息がしやすかったです。色々試してみたいです。有り難うございました♥️

表裏ともリネン＆コットンの涼し気な生地で作りました。ミシンかけもアイロンかけも最低限の回数で済み、シンプルで簡単な工程に工夫されていて助かりました。生地を替えて、また作りたくなってしまいそうです！

改良版、かなり時短で作れそうで素晴らしいです！3月からずっと前回の動画を参考にさせていただいて、手作りマスクをたくさん作ってきました。ゴム通し部分の生地が厚くならないように、立体仕上げのダブルステッチを綺麗にするのに緊張してましたが、これなら1度ですみますね！さっそくこのやり方で作ってみます！ありがとうございました。

久しぶりにこの形のマスクを作りました。改めてつけ心地の良さを実感しました。他の方がアレンジしたものも作ってみましたが、私には本家のケイコさんの形が１番フィットします。こちらのサイズだと深さが足りないのでポケットつきのサイズで基本パターンで作っています。他のマスクより隙間がほとんどできず口に張り付かず本当につけ心地が良いです。ただ、家庭用ミシンですと裏地をダブルガーゼにしたり、秋冬仕様で少し地厚にするとゴム通し口で針が止まってしまいます😢最初は押さえの後ろに厚紙を挟んで目打ちで押し込んでいましたが、やはり縫い目が綺麗ではないので、両脇を返し口にして裏地の両脇をカットすることで縫いにくさと縫い目のパツンパツンは解消されました。他に何か良い方法ありますか？？このパターンの新作が出ないかと心待ちにしています。

You're a brave woman, Keiko! I have to stitch/tack the fold first 7:06 before sewing the side for the elastic 7:33. Thank you for your tutorial! It is similar to the pattern I am using now as it helps us breathe better when using it. Also used cardstock for the pattern so it doesn't tear easily!

I've made several different patterns and this was the easiest and fastest to make. I made mine last week and the origami mask is now my favorite. I added a nose wire but this is personal preference. Thank you for sharing such a great pattern!

Shirley After you turn the mask unit right side out (just after ironing all the seams inward) you can top stitch a channel/wire pocket at the top center of the mask, leaving one end open. Then slip the wire inside the mask through the 2” hole at the bottom of the mask-the one you used to turn the mask right side out. Slide the wire inside the mask and into the channel and then finish by top stitching the one open end of the channel closed. Voíla. The first time I did it I laid the wire at the top center (flush with top edge of mask) of the mask, pinned on either side, as markers for the width of the channel, then top stitched. It’s very easy.

Thank you. The T-shirt ties are genius, and this pattern is straightforward and works. I adapted some fabric i’d already cut, making your,pattern with a single piece folded lengthwise in half, then placing the seam with an opening in the cemter before sewing the corners, so you do not need an extra piece for the filter pocket.

I like it but it's important to note that your pattern is for the sewing line. Most patterns are for the cutting line. I'm going to try to make this today.

For M size as an example, video says 25 x 15cm with 4.5cm for corners, but above says 17 x 27cm with 4.5cm, which in the video says is L and use 5cm corners. Which measurements are correct?

I think I figured this out. It threw me too. I think the description shows how large to cut the fabric and includes 1cm seam allowances. The sizes at 9:35 show the sizes from stitching line to stitching line.

Thank you, Keiko for yet another 3D mask demonstration. The English subtitles are extremely helpful and so are your tips! I'm going to make one soon as I think the 3D mask design is the best! Can I check why is it necessary to iron before turning the pieces over? I ask because other tutorials show cutting a much smaller seam allowance and clipping the corners. Do you prefer to keep the 1cm allowance to give the mask more shape or rigidity at the edges? Is it ok if I don't iron before turning over? :p Thank you in advance and stay well!

Thank you for your comment! (on Instagram as well?) Folding seam allowance has the same effect as splitting a seam allowance ,it makes it easier to poke out corners and open until the edges. You can do without it of course but if you compare, you will see what I mean😊 1cm is just the right length to sew and fold. Good luck with your project👍🏻✨

出来上がりサイズは動画内でもご紹介していましたが、改めて全サイズの出来上がりサイズを概要欄に追加しました。もしよかったら参考になさってください。ちなみにMサイズは、市販の不織布マスクのMサイズを参考にして作っています。

If you have a serger (overlocker) this is an excellent mask to make. Serge the four diagonals, then the upper and lower horizontals. Don't serge the two ends. Turn right side out. Press. Pressing is very easy because of the serged seams inside. Turn the two ends in and press. It is not necessary to sew the ends. Continue as shown in the video.

こんにちわ。色々な夏用マスクの作り方動画が出ていますが一番見やすくて、わかりやすい動画で、とても嬉しいです。お願いがあるのですが、このマスクに高性能のフィルターが入れられるような、内ポケット付きバージョンがあったらとても助かるのですが。マスクの機能として、ウィルスや花粉、チリなどを通さないという、大事な役目も担っています。普通の布マスクでは、ウィルスや、花粉などは、通過してしまうのでぜひ、フィルターを挟めるような、内ポケット付きのマスク動画を作って頂けないでしょうか？よろしくお願いします。

How can I print off the patterns at the end of the video with the measurements for the different sizes

Dianne French take a screen shot of the frame with the sizes on it then save to your photos from there you can print out a hard copy.

ところで表がダブルガーゼ、裏がダブルガーゼかシングルガーゼはオススメしないですか？あと、立体の折れ目の上下部分(凸の形の膨らんでるところ)にステッチ入れない理由って何かありますか？手間を省く以外で。

ガーゼいいですね！ぜひお好きな生地で作ってみてください。私のマスクは折り目にステッチを入れていませんが、理由は人種問わず顔にフィットするためと、花粉やウイルスなどが折り目に溜まらないよう洗いやすい形状にしています。

とてもわかりやすい動画有難うございます。作ってみたのですが、最後にゴム通しを縫うのが家庭用弱小ミシンでは針がすすまないのですがその部分を薄くする方法はありませんか？

おそらく段差が登れないのでしょうか？その場合は、一番端から縫うのではなく、少し進んだところから縫い始めて、返し縫いで戻ってみてください。または、紙を何回か折ってマスクの端に当て、ミシンのテーブルとの段差を無くして平にしてみてください。段差がなくなるとスムーズに押さえが進みます。これは他の物にでも使えるテクニックですので、是非やってみてください！うまく行きますように😊

Sサイズで幼児用サイズですか？ 4歳くらいの子だと大きいですか？

４歳でしたらもしかしたらSサイズは少し大きいかもしれません。出来上がりサイズは、【ヨコ幅約16cm、中央のタテ幅約13cm（カーブに沿って測っています）、両端のタテ幅約5cm】になります。よろしければお手持ちのマスクと比較されてみてください。ちなみに、サイズの微調整は簡単に出来ます。過去の動画でご紹介していますので、もし良かったらあわせて参考になさってください。 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qdKpmtCZrLC9hqc.html ↑このリンクの動画の 3:35 あたりからが該当箇所です。
