Болеть is two verbs with two different conjugations, right ?

Yes! The 1st, 3rd and 4th meanings are the 1st conjugation: я болею, ты болеешь, он болеет, мы болеем, вы болеете, они болеют. And the 2nd meaning is the 2nd conjugation: болит and болят (only 2 forms as it’s impersonal) But the infinitive is still the same: болеть 😊

It makes a bit of sense. Metaphorically you're sick when you root for something, it takes your energy in some cases even your happiness, your money, there comes the expression "I'm sick of this team"
