From an outsider, it sounds like Joe Cafe has let things slide before this incident. In that life, as you know, respect comes through fear, and apparently Joe was neither feared or respected. I guarantee that if it was Gaspipe, for example, instead of Joe Cafe, things would have been resolved fast.

I had to google Peter Pan and Oh Man, he looked like the ultimate wannabe. Being from Staten Island, I grew up with a lot of Wannabe types, but this kid seems like the king of the wannabes and I'm surprised he wasn't killed. Really enjoyed this story. Once again, this should have been dealt with from the get go before it got out of hand. Joe Cafe's fault. If Pete didn't respect Joe's authority what made him think Pete would listen to anyone else? Pete needed to be put in his place not placated. Ignorance can be fixed but not stupidity. You understood this, Joe didn't. I totally enjoyed the video sir! What I learned from this is that when we play with fire, we get burned! As an “outsider”(civilian), I would assume to consult an upper peer who HAS the knowledge and experience of making decisions within the family or families…to me, it’s similar to my job. I don’t make a decision to do my job a certain way, in which I want to do, without consulting my upper peers…am I understanding this correctly? I sincerely apologize for the long comment! what a fucked up life.. and I know Joe cafe glad when I was younger I listened to my father I was getting involved with street shit and doing things my father told there is no loyalty or respect cause he was was a old school street guy and worked with alot of guys.

This is the third story I've heard you tell about this Peter Pan guy and I don't even like the guy Lol. I can't believe how he hasn't been killed in that world. There was a funny story you told how Peter Pan was constantly messaging you all night and how you hopped in your car to give him a good beating but was talked out of it by your friend. I know you've moved on from that life but man I would've loved to see you give him a good beating. I've read many books on La Cosa Nostra that covered the 70's, 80's and 90's and can't help but think if this Peter Pan was around in those times, he certainly would've been killed. So it's fascinating to hear you tell stories about your life in La Cosa Nostra in the 2000's. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds to me like the LCN in the 2000's went to great lengths to avoid murders. You seem like a genuine guy and have turned a new leaf in your life. I grew up with Peters father... We went to High School together, and hung out in the same circles in our teenage years... His Dad was a lot of fun to hang out with... We had tons of laughs together... I feel bad for him that he has all these problems with his son... I guess you could say that the kid is a product of his environment (meaning the neighborhood he grew up in).
