John, these stories are incredible. I think even most of us that are interested in this genre don’t really realize how multi dimensional “The Life” really is. I mean, you’re constantly on damage control, constantly having to confront your peers that get out of line in an off handed way. (Prime example of this is when the guy ripped you off for lawyer fees and you ?-/basically told him “let’s go get the money back right now”) These stories show us that you had to be a politician, a Human Resources/customer service guy, a CEO, CFO, a thug AND a friend all rolled into one. I couldn’t imagine the stress! Very few are capable of utilizing controlled violence while maintaining all these more political roles. I often have to watch the videos twice because of how complex these various interactions become. Very cool and unique take on a genre that is fairly saturated by guys with lower tier, stereotypical content

Speaking as an outsider it seems to me that Ronnie G handled the matter horribly wrong. He was pissed that Peter Pan disrespected his crew in text messages but he himself disrespected Joe Cafe big time while speaking to Pennisi, a Lucchese soldier! What kind of behaviour is that? It seems to me Ronnie G felt untouchable and above the rules.

Crazy how they would keep a fraud around just to be a lapdog, something you never think would happen at that level, someone from the outside looking in would gain confidence seeing him around more than have fear or respect. He deserved to get slapped 100% but i assume he’s always been let off the hook due to his relation so probably why he grew up to be so disrespectful as he’s never truly thought he’s going to face consequences. I can see now why they attacked him even if it was taking a chance ,Before i heard the part 2 i thought they was in the wrong and crazy to attempt it, they approached it wrong obviously but i can sort of understand now why they did ….Proves your only as strong as your weakest link…and you naturally wanted to retaliate quickly as he made everyone look weak. Great video. Thank you for this explanation on Merlino/PPan! In hindsight it is hilarious.. the Philly reporters (Mob talk sit down) were going crazy over Tuccio when the pictures came out. They were trying to figure out if he was some kind of heavy weight or throwback mobster because he openly Jumped in all the pictures. In hindsight this is comical
